In 7th grade, my father took me to a 'facts of life' program held one evening at school, boys in one room, girls in another. On the awkward drive home, Dad asked if I had any questions, I said no. That was it. I don't remember any specific details of the presentation but I have to say my ideas of how sex worked prior to that were totally wrong.

I have three or four boxes of Hallmark ornaments, mostly Star Trek and superhero oriented, but it's been four or five years since I've actually put up a tree. When I did put up a tree it was always a real tree.

another coincidence - and another guy I picked up in the steamroom. I took him home, a room I was renting from a guy who'd placed an ad in the local gay bar rag. My "date" said he'd been there before with a previous guy who'd rented a room in that house.

I fooled around in the steamroom, then later at home, with a guy who worked the cosmetics counter at Macy's or something similar. I never did run into him at the store 🙂

The sauna & steamroom inside the men's locker room at a Bally's near me was shut down, turned into janitorial storage. It was a very very active playspace. I may have contributed to that 😄

I rented a room in a house when I was in my early 30's. Another guy renting a room went berserk when I put the plastic wrapper around the package of toilet paper in the bathroom wastebasket. Apparently it was "too big to go in there". He took it out & put it inside my bedroom - twice.

Long ago a friend told me about a song (maybe by the traveling wilburys?) that had a bit of dialog. Congratulations on winning the national lottery, sir! What are your plans? I don't know, I think I'll become an alcoholic!

Is anybody else watching this? I started it last night after hearing an interview with Rob McElhenney yesterday, and because I'm a huge Ted Lasso fan. It's a reality show about Rob and Ryan Reynolds buying an English soccer team and trying to build it up from its very-low standing in the league. I'm watching on Hulu, pretty sure it's on FX as well.
