  1. i knew i had seen a review or something. see reviews ryan ripley sorry i cant post a link. i cant seem to save one with the direct link. fake ad. fake person basically.

    Agreed. Stay away

  2. In all fairness to Jesse Bridger, I received an email from him late yesterday that he couldn't make it to Seattle due to a death in the family. He apologized for not communicating with me sooner and said he would let me know next time he is in town. I am satisfied. Whether the explanation is in fact true or not, it is certainly an acceptable excuse--along with being in a coma, in jail or held for ransom by terrorists. The main point is that I got the courtesy of an acceptable explanation and an apology which means that Jesse doesn't want to burn his bridges, and that is good enough for me. I will try to hire him again whenever the occasion presents itself.

Curious, did you ever meet up with Jesse?

  3. I feel for you. RM reviews can really be hit and miss. There was also one RM review (by Scholar) who suggested he was a clock watcher and asked for more money too.

Also, I have also seen bad RM reviews disappear shortly after they are posted.

I remember reading that one, I should have paid more attention to it :(

  4. so "We can do that for sure if...", you paid him for extra time for that, and he didn't come through with "that" anyway? My sympathies.

Yup. Thanks to everyone for their empathy. I'm sure many have been through something similar. To clarify, I've read about some pretty awful experiences on here, my experience wasn't awful, awful. It was just bad compared to my good experiences. I'd say it was very disappointing. The lessons I learned have been said here before and based on my experience I thought it'd be good to repeat them as a friendly reminder.

  5. I've never even heard of that. Paying extra for them to get it right. Most would just just offer you the extra time at no charge.

Basically it was "I'm sorry, I didn't really understand that's what you wanted but the hour's up. We can do that for sure if ..." I guess I could have been more assertive and expressed my dissatisfaction, but I didn't; that's why the poor experience is partly on me. Like I said, lessons learned :(

  6. I hope you post a poor review on RM and Daddy. If you do not do it on RM immediately, they block you before you can post.

In circumstances like this I don't like to post bad reviews, I mean, it's basically my own stupidity. However by posting the link I guess I'm sorta of suggesting that those whose opinions I've come to rely on and trust on this forum may want to PM me before hiring.

  7.

Testing kit shows up in plain, unmarked envelope. Although the return address indicates it is as lab, it does not give away what is inside or what the kit is for is for, so if someone sees it they really won't know unless they open the envelope. As well, the company does a variety of testing including for general health, so even if someone knew it was from company, they wouldn't know what the kit was for unless they open it. Inside the kit are detailed instruction on how to collect your sample (also on their website) along with everything you need to collect the sample, including alcohol wipes, lancets and bandaids. The sample is placed back in the box and then the box is placed in a pre-addressed, pre-paid, plain envelope (included in the kit). You drop the package off at a UPS store and it gets back to the lab in 1-2 days.

  8. I've been with my share of guys. There are *nice* guys, and there are *hot* guys, and when we're really lucky we find a guy that ticks both boxes.

The older I get, the more I find it's important to be with a nice guy. Friendly, chatty, warm, smiles a lot, considerate of you, etc. Where you've felt your time together was more than a transaction.

Who are some of the NICEST guys you've hired? I'm in the NYC area, but travel a fair amount, so I'm curious about all locations.

    Jayce
