  1. I am lost as to why anyone cares.
  2. try data lounge. i am seeing bomer on broadway soon
  3. Things really have changed. Few people would have cared years ago. Some guys wanted photos of their their cute asses
  4. You may not have seen Edward Albee's off-Broadway "The Play About the Baby." Burtka was naked for most of the evening. He has large, attractive penis and a very nice butt.
  5. The last I went often to nude beach near Santa Cruz, CA was around 1981.I saw more naked male butts than before, one world class. I hope he made use of his asset.
  6. Also true of my high school gym classes, shower rooms at some beachers where nobody left bathing suits on ever.
  7. k I lived in a space in tbe Army where the communal shower was only steps away from the beds. For those who showered at night, there was no need to use underwear very often. Everyone had already seen them naked naked often.
  8. Harris must have magical powerd to get David Burtka.
  9. I went through this with my mother. My response: right now, @Avalon does not need meals on wheels or assisted living, but he will in the future. It all depends on medical care: is it really true that knee replacement is not possible? He needs a friend or relative now, not just a landlord.
  10. Perhaps @Avalon needs just one knowlegable person to help with everything. It could be the director of a senior center. I do understand how difficult that first visit or phone call is for everyone.
  11. "Hamilton" is a far more complicated musical than "Funny Girl." Some people still remembered Fanny Brice when the musical opened. Love her or hate her, the show had Barbra Streisand. And the songs were memorable on the own before the cast album.
  12. Yes, there are many possible ways for @Avalon, since we know he has a computer. He might start with several other doctors taking a look at his health, especially his knees. I foeget sometimes how how far we have advance medically since my parents and grandparents.
  13. @Avalon I realize the changes are perhaps too much. Please remember though when you absolutely need them.
  14. @Avalon, I believe you have a birthday soon. Most barbers would be willing to come to your apt for haircut on that day, or soon after. I wait too long between haircuts too. A comment today from Dick Cavett in the New York Times: Watching my old shows, the odd sensation about it is, there I am sitting with Lucille Ball or someone like that, and it is overlain by the thought, "One of us is dead." "So far it's always the other one."
  15. Not sucessful escorts. It requires a combination of skills that not everyone has (or may want).
  16. My guess is you have received too much advice on how you could improve your situation, so I will not do it too. Very best to you as a valuable and nice person.
  17. Come on. By this time, even if there was a remove chance @Avalon could physically leave his apt., he may be afraid to try. Totally understable.
  18. To be fair, his not being able to leave his apartment for months may explain why Avelon post so often. Best wishes for a medical recovery,@Avalon.
  19. below, there not their He does not realize their is a community of sorts here, and occasional giving in once in a while might help in a far more important disagreement. If he is not well physically, perhaps more people should know.
  20. I visited the Nobel Museum in Sweden, Mann's 1929 citation mentions his shorter stories more than his novels. He was one of leading German exile from National Socialist Germany. Hitler set his books on fire.
  21. Mann's novella 'Death in Venice' has a gay story line. The novella became a successful movie, later an opera and later a full- length German ballet.
  22. Not sure, probably the New York Times. The article was about Putin's liking Chris Wallace upcoming (then) visit to Petersburg.
  23. But not apparently Joyce, Proust, Kafka and Mann. I believe only Thomas Mann received the Nobel Prize for Literature.
  24. Too bad William Buckley is gone. He would chosen the Baltic to get rid of Leningrad and Stockholm. Putin still calls St. Petersburg by its Soviet name.
