  1. It might be wiser if other tenants were helping you, not your landlord. But, I realize you have no other options I managed an apartment building for a while when I was also working. I knew one of tenants before, but not well. When I no longer managed the building, we finally became close friends.
  2. I hope he will eventually, but it's his choice. Thanks, @MikeBiDude
  3. I know your intention are A+. But, they do not necessarily match Avalon in the very beginning. He has not been outdoors for many months. Give him some time to adjust.
  4. As you become more proficient with the walker, your legs will be stronger. You will be able to turn in an arc. Yes, I understand it is difficult. But there are many people here on your side and wishing you well.
  5. My aunt lived to 100, but I never met her. She was married to my mother's oldest brother (older by 20 plus years, same parents). My mom bought a birthday card, but never sent it. My uncle died in the streets of Boston, homeless and drunk. I called their daughter when my mother died in 2000 at age 91. She wanted her mother's ashes buried with her dad's. That, I could do.
  6. Shouldn't we be glad he bought a walker and is using it. About 24 hours ago, things looked bleak when Avalon posted he had stubbed his toe on the box with the walker inside Why confuse things by posting he may have bought the wrong walker.Isn't the goal to hope Avalon has a better life.
  7. ATM are available throughout Western Europe, and mostly all countries accept American Express credit cards for modern hotel rooms. Some Russian hotels also accept American Express.
  8. Difficult to tell because my dad and all my uncle's smoked. My mom and all my aunts did not smoke, and all lived into their 80s or 90s. So I would not give much attention to longevity in one's family, and did not even count my uncle who died from too much drinking. Also some medical problems that once let to quick death can now be treated successfully.
  9. When Judy Garland performed at Felt Forum, inside Madison Square Garden during Christmas week 1967, she complained about the lack of light bulbs, and poor condition of the theater, which had not been completed yet. Once she was settled in, she sang fairly well for that late in her career. The last time I ever saw her in person.
  10. Nice photos of Jeremy and Kerry. Also Kerry and Steven. Thanks.
