Mary Martin was thought to be too sweet to be sincere. (They were correct). But,tourists missed that she was a lesbian. (Mary had a husband and two children, including Larry Hagman).

Just my opinion, he needs several people in his life. (And not to give us a rest.) Meals on Wheels seemed an option, until Avalon said no.

For once I disagree. My guess is he need social interaction from more than just his landlord and his wife. And, at some point, they may have had enough.

All that is wonderful, but Avalon has not had an easy life ((certainly not his fault). He has right to be scared about his next decision his next decision. Avalon is 65 years old with many physical problems. He has just started to use a walker. He makes decisions slowly and thoughtfully. He may not care that you are so insistent; Avalon has more important issues.

It is not unusual to see other team baseball caps in other major league cities, I assume it happened frequently when the Red Sox had few or no black players. In the 1980s when the Cardinals were the running Redbirds, with many black players, like Ozzie Smith, Willie McGee and Vince Coleman, I saw more Cardinal caps in Philly than Phillies hats

It might be wiser if other tenants were helping you, not your landlord. But, I realize you have no other options I managed an apartment building for a while when I was also working. I knew one of tenants before, but not well. When I no longer managed the building, we finally became close friends.

I know your intention are A+. But, they do not necessarily match Avalon in the very beginning. He has not been outdoors for many months. Give him some time to adjust.
