Thanks, @Avalon, your story is much like mine, except we had many classes together. So we attended a concert together, and I drove him home twice. And we had many conversations. I do not remember it as a waste of time, just something to not repeat. -
Mary Martin was thought to be too sweet to be sincere. (They were correct). But,tourists missed that she was a lesbian. (Mary had a husband and two children, including Larry Hagman).

Just my opinion, he needs several people in his life. (And not to give us a rest.) Meals on Wheels seemed an option, until Avalon said no.
