I visited the former Olympic site in Sarajevo, where most of the area still contains land mines from the war. The airport is closed. The historical bridge in Mostar was destroyed and now rebuilt - a symbol of the rebirth of Bosnia.

I spent 10 days in Bosnia in 2013 driving from Mostar to Sarajevo. Sad place? Perhaps. After all, Sarajevo is full of cemeteries from the war with Serbia. People in Sarajevo wanted to talk about what happened in that city. Mostar too.

It was 1950s popular singer Johnny Raye. Raye was best man at Judy Garland's last wedding in 1969.

I remember a Catholic priest calling out singer Johnny Raye at Sunday mass. Only vaguely understand what he was talking about. My reaction: why was a priest so upset? He was Miles Away from being specific. He made a fool of himself. Truly.

In the Army overseas, the open showers were next to the bedroom in some barracks. Even all these years later, I won't forget the names of two of shower mates - one from Iowa; one from Arkansas. Good memories ❤️.

I am in the midst of my own Ryan Phillippe Films Festival. Started with "54." Director's Cut. -
Young Trevor Wright is wonderful in "Shelter." I assume he was labeled as gay when he may be straight. So he has not been lucky enough to get many new roles. Last I heard Mr. Wright was working as a real estate agent in Beverly Hills. Yikes.
