I spent a week in Newport around 2000. I greatly enjoyed The Cliff Walk so close to the. Ocean and glad to have a rental car. Back then I probably exercised way too much

I have discovered for special events on Broadway (Our Hearts Belong to Mary Martin) the cheapest seats are just as good as yhe the best seat. Just being there was wonderful in 1985

Massachusetts is a lot of good things, but not an engine of the country. Excellent schools, especially colleges. Good vacation destination for everyone. And Western Massachusetts is greatly underrated.

Perhaps true when Massachusetts senators were Henry Cabat Lodge and Leverett Ssltonstall in the 1950s. They were replaced by John Kennedy and Ed Brooke.

At least the show featured a gay character, whom I found interesting especially in the feature film. Yes, Thomas was presented as a relatively one dimensional character for a long while. Perhaps that is because gays were seen that way by straight people back then. -
