  1. Oh, you trust your common sense. Now I understand.
  2. I like when you say "I believe". There is no argument against that. But I do have a problem when you say "the truth is we all know". We do not know. I think I understand your point, but I do not think you understand mine. If you think that gay men are recognizable from their manners (whatever we call them), how can you know you are right? Your premise is self-corroborating. You do not know whether or not you are right when you determine what their preferences are.
  3. Did you consider that perhaps the issue is not that most gay men are feminine and fit a stereotype, but rather your own prejudices blind you from seeing masculine gay men? I do not know of any research about the manners among gay men. If there is one, please educate me. But I do not see how you know a masculine man is gay or straight.
  4. I like guys with speech issues like sissing I like the gap in the front upper tooth that many Black people have (sometimes this makes me horny even with women) deep voices
  5. I have mixed feelings. I think it was helpful to know who is who. Also, based on the time they spent there, the frequency of their posting, and the blatant bitterness, it looks like some poor lonely guys do not have another place to vent their grievances. Besides, I wonder how we will keep politics out of the conversations. The same homophobia and racism that a few posters bragged about, will show up when we discuss non-political issues. After all, (nonpartisan) politics is everywhere.
  6. Even when I am socially challenged, I had a great time when I met other posters in this forum. I once enjoyed @Oliver's hospitality in Palm Springs and about three times met in DC with smaller groups of posters. I even traveled to Mexico DF, and Rio with friends from here. This is a popular forum representative of the broader humankind. I believe people are overwhelmingly good; the paranoid feelings many share about crime are unknown to me. Similarly, most posters here are good, reliable people.
  7. They may be working out the glitches on the new upgrade. If they are following this thread, we may have alerted them of this one.
  8. For the curious and with nothing else to do, in gayguides you can still find epic threads from those times.
  9. I do not see that either. It would be great news!
  10. For those who browse from their phones, remember that if you use your device horizontally instead of vertically you will see more tools on screen.
  11. Feliz cumpleaños! (I couldn't find any appealing bisexual gifs)
  12. Why are you all assuming he flies in a private jet?
  13. You keep trying to police your own thread without any intention to listen to what others are telling you. NO ONE has spoken of predetermined destiny, but about interacting biological and environmental conditioning. You are confronting your imaginary devout homosexuals who only exist in your fantasy world, and you are not listening to what the real posters are telling you. I am sorry the thread is not going in the direction you intended, but sometimes that happens when you open a thread.
  14. Oh! THIS is why you opened this thread! You falsely talked about your curiosity for others' personal journeys. However, now I see that you just wanted to share your grievances against devout homosexuals! You should have started there.
  15. I do not see anyone here saying that sexual orientation is biologically determined. Instead, what I read is that our sexual preferences are biologically and environmentally conditioned. There is an array of biological conditions, gens one of them, and an array of environmental conditions, family and culture two of them), interacting, mutually influencing each others. Definitely, there is no choosing of our sexual preferences. We can choose how we will express them, or even not express them at all, but we do not choose our sexual orientation. Some people may be mistaking discovering for choosing.
  16. Do not worry, it is for the friends hunting in SE Asia.
  17. Indeed, I smell desperation here.
  18. Gaybutton down was a hacking incident. The issues with Gayguide are maintenance. Recently, the owner renewed his commitment to keep the site up and purchased more space. I do not know what exactly is happening now, but in my experience the developers supporting the site are not talented.
  19. Hell yes. Since several years ago, I have stopped hiring without a videoconference. But a video presentation or a voice recording embedded to their escort profile would save me time.
  20. And it would be a very appreciated filter for me.
  21. Conclusion: you can choose any kind of pizza, but you cannot choose your sexual orientation.
  22. I am not sure whether or not I understand. I think (correct me if I am wrong) you are saying that the choice is in your life style, not in your sexual preference.
  23. Happy birthday, Southern brother!
  24. I do not know what is going on in MB today. However I can give testimony that in its beginning the owner had the intention to run an honest business. We partnered during a few months (we parted ways because he found that the traffic I was bringing was not meeting his expectations), he even gave me a great recommendation and connected me with the guy who redesigned my blog, I only have good things to tell. But again, I do not know whether or not he is still there.
