They may be working out the glitches on the new upgrade. If they are following this thread, we may have alerted them of this one.

For the curious and with nothing else to do, in gayguides you can still find epic threads from those times.

I do not see that either. It would be great news!

For those who browse from their phones, remember that if you use your device horizontally instead of vertically you will see more tools on screen.

Feliz cumpleaños! (I couldn't find any appealing bisexual gifs)

Who chooses their sexual orientation?
+ José Soplanucas replied to pubic_assistance's topic in The Lounge
You keep trying to police your own thread without any intention to listen to what others are telling you. NO ONE has spoken of predetermined destiny, but about interacting biological and environmental conditioning. You are confronting your imaginary devout homosexuals who only exist in your fantasy world, and you are not listening to what the real posters are telling you. I am sorry the thread is not going in the direction you intended, but sometimes that happens when you open a thread. -

Oh! THIS is why you opened this thread! You falsely talked about your curiosity for others' personal journeys. However, now I see that you just wanted to share your grievances against devout homosexuals! You should have started there. -
Who chooses their sexual orientation?
+ José Soplanucas replied to pubic_assistance's topic in The Lounge
I do not see anyone here saying that sexual orientation is biologically determined. Instead, what I read is that our sexual preferences are biologically and environmentally conditioned. There is an array of biological conditions, gens one of them, and an array of environmental conditions, family and culture two of them), interacting, mutually influencing each others. Definitely, there is no choosing of our sexual preferences. We can choose how we will express them, or even not express them at all, but we do not choose our sexual orientation. Some people may be mistaking discovering for choosing. -
Do not worry, it is for the friends hunting in SE Asia.

Indeed, I smell desperation here. -
Gaybutton down was a hacking incident. The issues with Gayguide are maintenance. Recently, the owner renewed his commitment to keep the site up and purchased more space. I do not know what exactly is happening now, but in my experience the developers supporting the site are not talented.

Why not record your voice?
+ José Soplanucas replied to + StLouisOct's topic in Questions About Hiring
Hell yes. Since several years ago, I have stopped hiring without a videoconference. But a video presentation or a voice recording embedded to their escort profile would save me time. -

And it would be a very appreciated filter for me. -

Conclusion: you can choose any kind of pizza, but you cannot choose your sexual orientation. -

I am not sure whether or not I understand. I think (correct me if I am wrong) you are saying that the choice is in your life style, not in your sexual preference. -
Happy birthday, Southern brother!

I do not know what is going on in MB today. However I can give testimony that in its beginning the owner had the intention to run an honest business. We partnered during a few months (we parted ways because he found that the traffic I was bringing was not meeting his expectations), he even gave me a great recommendation and connected me with the guy who redesigned my blog, I only have good things to tell. But again, I do not know whether or not he is still there.

As constructive criticism, if you would have invested more time and energy in using clear and distinct terminology in this discussion and less in beefing with Unicorn, perhaps things would have ran more smoothly. -
Anyone feel like a lot of providers are rude via text?
+ José Soplanucas replied to INQUIRER1's topic in The Deli
Absolutely. And also think that texting has evolved into an etiquette where laconism and straight to the point are highly appreciated. -

@musclestuduws, I saw your rolling eyes reaction to my post, and I want to apologize. That response was pity. Sometimes I enjoy being a bitch, I recently promised that I would try harder to be more constructive and less confrontative, and that post is just evidence of how hard it is for me. Indeed, it is a low point and I apologize. Instead of writing that bitchy response, I should have clarified the post that you understood as a personal attack. It was not intended as such. I use "you" as the impersonal you, not as targeting you as an individual. Instead, I should I have used "we", because what I meant is that we all feel great about ourselves when we feel like we are in control, even when it is delusional. Once again, my apologies. I could have deleted/edited my misstep, but I do not mind documenting my flaws. -

Let's suggest a different approach to "choice". You can choose to try to understand human sexuality. Sciences mostly do that. In the process, they impoverish the potencial of human sexuality through generalizations and categorizations (like homo, hetero, or bisexuality). I am not saying that you cannot explain human sexuality, but that you can choose a different approach. Instead of explaining and analyzing and regulating human sexuality, you can choose exploring and describing the very diverse and always evolving field of sexual behaviors and preferences. The first think to do is moving away from sexual "identities", towards sexual behaviors. (I am not inventing nothing here, talking about reinventing the wheel) I think it is a much more fruitful approach, at least it has worked great for me. I am much more happier and open to try new things now that I was until 10 years ago, when I was still trying to explain and analyze. -

Do you not think there is a biological reward for homosexual conducts? Do you think reproduction is the only biological reward? Do you not think homosexual acts trigger biochemical processes that provide a "biological reward"?
