  1. Are we suffering an invasion of haters?
  2. Forget Rentmen. Use Grindr and Mileroticos. You may get some info here, but you should instead try here.
  3. Are you hiring in Asia? Did you find that Asians raised in a Western culture still rever the elderly?
  4. I agree 100%. Comparing notes and exchanging ideas, I have learned a big deal from others' experiences and knowledge of the trade. Besides that, I had amazing experiences with guys who were not reviewed, and not so good with very popular escorts here.
  5. I did not like Secrets, I do miss Rockhard DC! And of course, the legendary Wet, specially Tuesday Chocolate Night. Fucking yummy.
  6. I am in Argentina since mid-November. This is not an adventure trip, so I do not think I will share much. I just wanted to post a few tips, as the local situation has radically changed this year. Bringing cash is yet the most convenient option, but as the local currency is now stronger, the difference between the official rate and the "blue dollar" is less than 10% and dropping. Yesterday it was 7%. This makes the use of credit cards a new and convenient option. CC operations run according to the "dólar MEP" for foreigners, which is slightly higher than the official rate and closer to the blue rate. Do not plan on withdrawing cash from ATMs. The limit is extremely low for withdrawals (in my case, $AR 50,000 with a Priority City account), and the fee you have to pay is about U$S 12 each time. Yep, it is a no, no, no. An appealing alternative if you run out of cash is to transfer money to yourself through Western Union, just be aware that you may need to carry a voluminous pile of bills due to the rampant inflation. I would not make big transfers, but always less than 1,000, preferably less than 500. Consider that currently the biggest bill here is $AR 10,000, they just printed $AR 20,000 bills but they are not yet available. In general, I would say prices are twice (calculated in US dollars) what they were during my previous trip, in June 2023. The challenge for the local economy is that all prices were distorted by subsidies and gov control. You add inflation, and no one knows where prices really are. It is going to take some time for the local economy to balance, meanwhile you will find the same product with a huge price variation from one shop to another. Some prices are currently higher than in the US, like some meds and clothing, but most of the prices of goods that visitors would consume are similar or lower than in the US. For the locals it is unbearable, for a tourist coming from the US or West Europe it is still a good deal. But due to the currency situation in Brazil, all tourism is going to be sucked by our Brazilian friends. I have not hired escorts so far, and I do not think I will. But perusing the comments in the local forums, the sex market situation seems to be similar to the broader market's. People are sharing experiences with prices from 20 bucks to 200. As in the past, the best deals are from Skokka, the highest prices are in soytuyo, and Rentmen is a guarantee of ridiculous overprices. Again, this is not based on my experiences but on comments I am reading in the Foro Pirata. In Buenos Aires, Grindr worked very well for me for non-transactional sex. Now I am inside the country, close to Paraguay. Although I have found a menu abundant on chipá, chipá mbocá, sopa paraguaya, asado, empanadas, milanesas de surubí, and other local delicacies, my diet has been low on dicks. None so far, but I have not been hunting. For the older forum members, if you remember and traveled back then, the general situation seems to be evolving to a context similar to the 90s, under Carlos Menem’s presidency. Argentina will probably stop being a popular destination for international tourism (all tourism from bordering countries is already gone), and countries like Brazil, the US, Spain, France, and Italy (all fav destinations for the locals) will see an invasion of Messi fans.
  7. As the 40s man I am, I can tell there are few topics more tired than this thread's.
  8. Be aware of "Short sessions". It is code for "Snort sessions".
  9. I have parked my cars on DC streets for 20+ years. I had only one incident: a lost bullet went through the windshield when it was parked. Many people let an isolate incident contaminate their good judgement. I think it is a common talent for the unhappy and bitter.
  10. Oooops, and I forgot homosexuals!
  11. I doubt this is a bisexual thing. Bisexual or heterosexual couples should base their contract in honesty.
  12. We are still waiting to see the logistics. I would guess (I may be wrong, we do not have actual data) most undocumented escorts work independently from their home. I think it would be very difficult to identify and drag them, specially if they reduce their out services and switch to only hosting. I imagine the biggest danger is for those undocumented workers who work outside of their homes and can be dragged from their work place or the street. The government could easily pick them up from work hubs, or from the streets specially during rush hours.
  13. LOL. Wish you the best, man! Sorry for the misadventures.
  14. Rude, entitled, and unbelievably stupid.
  15. You may have more challenges than you expect using US dollars in Argentina. In many places they will only accept "big head", blueish dollars, the ones printed lately with more security features. It is common to be offered a less conveniente price for older bills. I am right now in Argentina, and ever glad the cash I brought is fresh new bills. Actually, it is easy to understand the reluctance to accept other than the local currency. Locals know how to distinguish their own fake money, but they are easy to trick with foreign bills. Plus, in most countries they would need to invest time and effort on trading the foreign bills.
  16. This is quite typical, mostly with entitled US natives. I am currently planning for an "expat" life, I would never consider a destination where I would not be able to integrate with the locals. I could live for a long period of time in the Americas and in most of Europe, and perhaps in a few African countries where English is the first or second language. That's it. I could visit any place, but my possibilities to integrate are constrained to those regions.
  17. I tend to agree. Even with political refugees, whether I would consider them expats or immigrants would depend on their intentions to move temporarily or permanently to another country.
  18. @ilikepinga.bsky.social on Bluesky BSKY.APP blogger about adult gay topics, +18 y.o. only ilikepinga.com USA - Colombia - Brasil - Argentina I think the glitches we (I) are suffering are related to their server being overwhelmed by the many new users.
  19. I am not sure of that. Those who open an account in BSky just to have a new outlet to expand their reach are not "migrating", they are expanding. They will probably keep their Twitter account. But those who are doing it because of political reasons may not.
  20. It is not a gay migration. It is a Blue migration, or rather a wanna be migration. Not very different to what the other side tried to do before Elon Musk took over Twitter. Truth Social is a failure. Let's see what happens with BlueSky.
  21. I just opened an account. I hope they fix soon all the glitches I had to deal with.
  22. Thanks for the advice!
  23. Are you all saying that Bluesky is as open to porn and adult materials as Twitter/X is? This is an honest question, it would be very disappointing to leave my Twitter 35K+ following behind and move to Bluesky to find out I am censored.
