  1. Lo siento, Greg. Hug!
  2. To me, it sounds just like another euphemism, more sophisticated but still a pretty obvious BS. I do believe it is better to have the disclaimer than otherwise. What I am not being convinced about is the alleged superiority of your disclaimer over the standard one.
  3. Honestly, I do not see a significant difference between both disclaimers.
  4. My missed Rio de la Plata sister! Hell no, Punta del Este is expensive and too fancy for me. I like Montevideo and Colonia del Sacramento.
  5. Hey Matt! Why do you think a jury or a judge would take that disclaimer more seriously than the standard one?
  6. I love Uruguay, but it is not a cheap country. None of South Cone countries is, that is why I did not even mention Chile. I would never live in the Caribbean, no hurricanes for me. Mexico, lets see in a few years. Right now my strongest candidates are Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.
  7. In the ones in Buenos Aires, you were able to enjoy for free the boys parade, choose the one you preferred, and get a room and a drink for the hour fee. I remember once I wanted to celebrate my birthday with a “taxi boy”. I called the agency (I don’t remember which one, 25 years ago), and describe to them what I was looking for. I rejected 3 boys they sent to my place before I took the 4th.
  8. There is a caveat, though: you must be a citizen or a permanent resident. They do not want to pot head tourism.
  9. And cannabis is legal!
  10. I’m not using my computer, of course. I’m in my iphone, using a browser I do not have in my work computer
  11. Compared to other places in LA and even in Argentina. More traveling b4 retirement is in my plans. The problem is that my parents are still together and alive, in their 80s. I’m committed to postpone my traveling to spend all my vacation time with them until they pass away.
  12. Got it. I may love it, but first I have to visit and try it.
  13. So you meant they are NOT created equal. Still, I would love to spend some time over there, but right now it does not look like the place for me to live in.
  14. I dont know what you mean by them being created equal. As I understand it it makes it less appealing.
  15. A major consideration when indulging in my fantasies is, of course, sex. I would live visiting SE Asia to enjoy their offer, but the racial Mix that I can find in Brazil or Colombia is much more appealing.
  16. It is your loss, my friend.
  17. I did not, but now it is bookmarked. Gracias!
  18. That is indeed good advise, my plans are changing all the time. To be honest, I’m in a slow day at my job and Tarte Gogo’s adventures triggered my fantasies. This website is not locked in my work network, miraculously.
  19. i am planning on retiring in 7 years. Until recently my fantasy was buying real estate in Argentina to settle back there. Now I am considering renting instead of buying, and traveling. I am asking for advice from those of you living outside of the usa. What is a good city for home base? Buenos Aires is too expensive, and the country side in Argentina is not so well connected to the rest of the world. Rio? bahía? Lima? Quito? I know aomeones prefer Asia, but I think my Latin American heart pulls me to S America.
  20. My understanding is that just as here in the usa, internet killed agencies.
  21. Any updates? Should we be starting to RSVP to have an idea of the number of attendees and the size of the restaurant needed?
