I think the whole direction taken by gay identity activism, trying to replicate the heterosexual model of exclusive monogamy, is a reflection of homophobia. I know it is not the more popular opinion, but it is what I honestly think. I am not preaching from the purity pulpit, I recognize my homophobic (and of course racist, misogynystic, etc) attitudes and often I am ashamed of them. But I am proud of the progress I have made and of my willingness to accept it is a never ending task.

I think we all are homophobic up to different degrees. In our formative years we were shaped by mainstream culture, that is homophobic, racist, mysoginistic, etc., up to different degrees.
