Hey guys! Giving you a buzz from the bitter Northeast! A balmy 5* outside right now...and had to enjoy the amazingness of running an electric space heater next to the well pump and pressure tank to keep my pipes from freezing. Remind me again why anyone would want to live north of the Mason Dixon line in the US...
 
Anyhow...! Just wanted to express my appreciation for all your thoughts and sentiments here...as well as especially a shout out to @Ace , Dane Scott(not letting me link to him????), @VictorPowers , @RyanChambers , who have all personally remained in contact with me throughout this thing. Not ‘fake nice’ neither, they’re the real deal and actually were concerned and wanted to compare plans of attack for getting through. None of us can afford to stand here with our heads buried in the sand like Ostriches, waiting for life to get better.
 
Have been concentrating on my Dad’s health, work on the ‘regular side of the fence’, both with a home inspection license and installing well pumps. With that being said...now I’m not able to maintain the text relationships I’ve had with people on the far side of the world as much...and I have to kinda been ‘hands off’ of the cellphone during The day. By the time I get home, do the gym if I even have time....I’m getting behind worse and worse on texts. So my apologies to anyone who feels sleighted but theres only so many hours in the day.
 
Will try to get on more, but make no promises on that end. This is going to be a changed world, and unfortunately I think travel is going to be increasingly difficult. Just saw a news article that Canada is freezing flights to the Caribbean until April...there goes the winter! This is literally going to be a 1.5+ yr time out on life, and most of us didn’t have that shelf life left...LOL. We all can’t be perennially beautiful like @Ace <3

Hi T/J, greetings from similarly less than balmy Chicago. Not sure if you remember me. At any rate, we have a fellow sufferer in Dane and I have been lucky enough to keep in touch with him. A similarly wonderful, warm guy and I always have very fond memories of you both. Of course, because you raised it, I wanted to answer your issue "Remind again why anyone would want to live north of the Mason Dixon line in the U.S." All I have to say is that if I didn't it would mean I would have to live south of the MD line and all that goes with it.

Spoke with him recently and he is doing well. Loving life and loving his family and his dogs.

He's fine. I talked to him briefly yesterday. Doing his best to stay sane and take care of his father.
