Many feel the review process and discreet posts in the regular forum do the same job. When a conversation is taken PM it often usurps the entire purpose of these forum, leaving many many posters/lurkers in the dark.

They do offer 24/7 phone counseling, and have reading material they suggest reviewing before taking the test. Also I have a huge family and friend support system I’d be able to lean on. Not everyone needs a lot of Hand holding to get through the day

Play all you want until you see the “Confirm UberX” or similar button. I play around frequently with the App bcs I sometimes am curious how much one of my young friends will cost me for “take out” to my place. You can use a generic location on their end (civic center, school, other point of interest) as pickup point, your location (Home, hotel, Starbucks) as drop off. Then check for pricing, check to avoid “surge” pricing etc. beware the surge....one young friend was like an $18-20 ride to me, my final “confirm” for his/my schedule preference at the last minute was a nearly double $35. Delivered him back home for $15 “later...”

I don’t know PDX intimately but usually elevators are nearby and clearly marked. I used used them in my stroller toting days, NEVER an escalator.
