My gas fireplace in my den/family room is Alexa enabled. I love laying in bed and commanding “Alexa, turn den on” and the fireplace and appropriate morning lamps are on when I get downstairs

PETA = People Eating Tasty Animals When I wear my T-shirt with that on they get riled up, especially at the racetrack. When I mention friends of mine whose restaurants were graffitied and vandalized with “meat is murder” and inflicting thousands$ in damages they flip me off. -

Maybe some classic recipes from Yankee days with corn, other local dishes derived from England but uniquely ours, influenced by local ingredients. Corn pudding? Yankee beans? Etc I’ll look in my Fannie Farmer cookbook.
