I am not sure what you mean. Our session was for 2 hours. I paid him his fee because I wanted to. I have the means and I simply didn’t care. We then went to the bar/restaurant, had drinks and a nice meal. We met up the next night - he didn’t take or want a penny. He was amazing!

I appreciate your perspective. I think we have a difference of experience and philosophy. I will say if someone’s been having sex with me for eight years straight, there’s a bond forming, whether we acknowledge it or not. My barber isn’t in my bed. There’s a difference between being familiar with someone who provides a service and having an ongoing intimate connection, even if money is involved. You may not define that as a bond, but I’d argue that kind of consistency means something.

If you had looked into the screenshot from him, he never got your 200 in first place as on his Venmo, it was disputed. The 194 you see refunded on your end, he did not got that back as well and was disputed. I hope he receives it otherwise, you never know, he may start a thread asking all providers to stay away from you for being a scammer. My friend, your side of the picture is not the complete picture and so my comment for why only Venmo is to blame. Like I said earlier, this conversation has assumed unnecessary proportions and all I wish for is @lionbrown to shut this down so no further harm is done.

It is great that you received your refund and I'm happy for you. What I am failing to understand is that you were eventually going to get your refund after a month when you had disputed it so why all this drama and dragging someone. I do not mind you sharing your personal experience but calling someone scammer was a bit below the belt when you knew that it was all a big Venmo misunderstanding in first place. I do not think this whole thread has made either of you look holier than thou.

Ok. This topic has run its course. 

If I thought it was just a Venmo mixup, I wouldn’t have dragged him. That’s why I called Venmo to confirm.  If you guys were paying attention, he had sent me a refund, then asked for it back from Venmo which is why I had to go through all this crap. But, I don’t need to rehash, and if the moderator wants to close the thread, fine with me.

To me the "he" should be @DC Guy 92.  The escort agreed to the refund and did not contest it. It then was in Venmo's hands. You guys are being too harsh here on the escort.

Don’t do it DC. Keep doing what you’re doing. Warn people (that’s what this place is for), keep Turbook honest by continuing to bump the thread until you get your money back, and cost him enough business that he thinks twice about pulling this scam again, but don’t escalate it more than that unless he continues to put up a fight. Sounds like he is a good escort who made a “poor” choice. If he fixes it and it doesn’t look like a pattern, let it go and let him move on.  We got the info, you got your money, and he got the message.

I have to disagree. This platform isn’t meant for tearing people down or seeking revenge. In my opinion it’s a space for sharing experiences and useful information, whether positive or negative. In this case, it’s about a bad experience. Let’s keep things classy and informative so that others can benefit from the discussion.

Checked with him and he mentioned, he has not challenged the appeal so you are bound to get your money back. He provided a screen shot (attaching here). Asked on changing the name and he did so because he was losing business while this issue drags on. Desperation got him there as many guys who just take a cursory look at this thread choose to block him. Again, I believe the lack of communication is causing unnecessary damage both sides. The more we add to this thread the worse it will get. That is why I had requested if we can put a hold to it.

I don't wanna beat a dead horse but if I were in his shoes I'd change my name too. It's in Venmo's hands now isn't it?

I'm not convinced and this thread would in no way deter me from hiring him. You made a post with his former name and calling him a scammer in the title. So of course he changed his name as any sane person would have done. Geez.

Not blaming you but he is the sweetest guy I know so reached out and asked for the screen shots. With his permission, sharing them here. I still think, it is some issue with Venmo since in your screenshot it shows that he requested and got refund on 3rd whereas in his screen shot his refund back to you gets completed on 4th. I will try to see if I can get that to verify with him.
That aside, I think he felt really hurt earlier how things were spiraling out so he blocked you and it is up to him if he would want to speak to you.

From what I know, he asks for a deposit for an outcall because in the past he has been ghosted when he would take an Uber so he tries to cover his expenses. Not sure, what exactly happened there with DC but I can understand why he asks for that deposit.
