Yes, I can see Ariel’s style not being for everyone. It’s unique and I love it. But the broader point is that all the guys at Utopia are unique. There’s no cookie cutter, paint by the number sessions that I experience at so many other places.

I quite enjoyed my overall session with Ben both technically and sensually. Maybe not stellar stellar but I’ll go back. One question... did they remove the Sunny Boy table shower? I forgot to ask when I was there. Liked that table a lot more than Utopia’s.

Tad harsh. Masseurs are always changing rates up and down. In my own business I have published rates. None of my current customers will ever simply pay me those rates even if they know them, nor would I expect them to. It’s my job to inform them.

Note for the record here... I found myself with some time to kill. Johnny showed as Available Now on MF. I texted, he responded, agreed the 90 minute price, he sent address and on I was on my way. As I was walking there, I saw that he had texted 10 minutes earlier asking me to reconfirm. I responded in the affirmative and that I was almost there. He responded that he was no longer available. I’m giving a little lee way here given the without notice setup, but I’m not overly enthusiastic about trying again.

I was there this afternoon. It was a drive-by and they were very busy. Got “Andy” (oy, yes another Andy). Tallish Asian. He has been there two months. His strong traditional massage technique is a good addition to the unique Simon, Ariel and Victor styles. PM for specifics.

It’s all relative I guess. In the space of 3/4 wall spas, Utopia IMHO gives the best overall experience and mix of quality guys. The shower room is also a big plus. Sort of bummed to hear about the upsells. Has never happened to me. If that’s recent, it should stop shortly as the owner is known to read this forum and seems to respond to it behind the scene.

That’s the best part of any spa, just walk in! In three years, I’ve only been turned away 3 times because no one was available. And there’s a certain thrill going pot-luck.

My first time there as 27 Spa with Ben was a full 90 minutes on the table. But they had only been open a week and there was no one else there. Seems like they are taking us for rubes. When I’m shorted, I short the tip.

It’s a discussion forum and it’s your right to disagree. I simply noted what was reported previously and also noted the onslaught of members joining the forum and only pushing Italo and 27 Spa. I actually like 27 Spa, especially Ben. And, I certainly wasn’t discouraging anyone not to post their experiences.

Agree, hot AND strong can be a challenge. In terms of strong, Andy at Hey Man and Chen at Yeah Man deliver upon request extremely deep, strong and still relaxing massages.

For the record and previous to the thread being deleted, Italo’s massage skill was reported as “average” by two long standing members here. And just prior to the deletion, there were a lot of newbies pushing 27 Spa, and ONLY pushing 27 Spa.
