It’s all relative I guess. In the space of 3/4 wall spas, Utopia IMHO gives the best overall experience and mix of quality guys. The shower room is also a big plus. Sort of bummed to hear about the upsells. Has never happened to me. If that’s recent, it should stop shortly as the owner is known to read this forum and seems to respond to it behind the scene.

That’s the best part of any spa, just walk in! In three years, I’ve only been turned away 3 times because no one was available. And there’s a certain thrill going pot-luck.

My first time there as 27 Spa with Ben was a full 90 minutes on the table. But they had only been open a week and there was no one else there. Seems like they are taking us for rubes. When I’m shorted, I short the tip.

It’s a discussion forum and it’s your right to disagree. I simply noted what was reported previously and also noted the onslaught of members joining the forum and only pushing Italo and 27 Spa. I actually like 27 Spa, especially Ben. And, I certainly wasn’t discouraging anyone not to post their experiences.

Agree, hot AND strong can be a challenge. In terms of strong, Andy at Hey Man and Chen at Yeah Man deliver upon request extremely deep, strong and still relaxing massages.

For the record and previous to the thread being deleted, Italo’s massage skill was reported as “average” by two long standing members here. And just prior to the deletion, there were a lot of newbies pushing 27 Spa, and ONLY pushing 27 Spa.

Unfortunately we’re in a new SESTA/FOSTA world. The previous thread seemed to me to veer a bit out of control after Backpage and Craigslist shutdown. I do think we can start fresh and moderate accordingly. And I do encourage the forum moderators to be diligent on a post by post basis in their edits and deletions. As noted, a ton of useful info is now hidden. But better that then exposing our fav NYC spas to any sort of enforcement actions.

Ditto... saw him a few times more than 10 years before I understood what a good massage was about. Nice guy, relaxing, some fun extras, minimal massage skill then. So perhaps his skill has evolved? Pics are older, but still in decent shape as I see him at the gym every now and then.

Another piano venue is Townhouse on the east side. Distinguished older set crowd with roaming young admirers. Also No Where in the East Village at 14th and 2nd is a chill brownstone basement setting with a nice mixed crowd. As mentioned above, Hells Kitchen is a bit of shit show for pre-millennials but Barrage at 9th Ave and 47th was there long before the gay bar exodus from Chelsea and would be a nice early evening Sunday option.

Never tried him, but he and Misha from your other post offer 4 hand sessions. They advertised on CL a lot. Never took the plunge.
