Updating this thread… William, working out of office space on Broadway down by Battery Park, is back. He’s been away for some months. I was totally nude. Didn’t seem to phase him, and for this type of massage he spends a lot of time standing on your ass. It would be awkward with underwear.

Finally tried this place. Total whim, was walking by after a few drinks at No Where bar and just went in. Clean, quiet, nicely appointed separate rooms with heavy curtains for doors. Older guy David was available. As expected and in line with comments in other threads, totally legit session. Not one sensual move. But for me David is a keeper. One of the few masseurs that is expert in Ashiatsu massage… walks confidently on your back, legs and shoulders with his bare feet. So deep, intense and always on the edge of painful. Truly the best I’ve had in NYC.. better than Chen at Yeah Man and Jason at the old Rainbow. Ended with super scalp and foot focus. $90 and went over the hour a bit.

Indeed! Oh those Shangrila sessions with Jorge. So edgy, so hot. Much appreciation for a masseur who’s not in a rush to end things. Most “recent” memorable spa edge was a year ago at Freshmen on McDougal. Daniel gave an ok almost non-sensual massage but boy did he turn it up for the slow end. Well if you’re the adventurous type, you could try researching or calling around on the many massage parlors in the hoods around JFK to see who has masseurs. For example, looking on Google Maps, reviews at A+ Head Spa mention a good experience with “Jason” just this week. ($90 for 90 minutes plus the 20 min Uber there and back). Hey, ya never know!
