  1. A Prayer for Owen Meaney is one of my all time favorites. Hilarious, heartbreaking, uplifting.. multiple rereads.
  2. Indeed a sleepy little movie… hung in there and didn’t hate it.
  3. No experience reported over in The Deli https://rent.men/AnOtterLevel
  4. Yes, it’s a shame that the author, Patricia Nell Warren, died in 2019 without seeing her novel ever come to the screen. Paul Newman had the rights in the 70s. You can see a timeline of efforts for the movie here: https://www.thefrontrunnermovie.com/Movie_History.html Maybe now is the right time!
  5. +1 on James. My very first masseur way way back in 1999! Only wish I aged as well as he has! Also on MF.. https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/1099/
  6. He adjusted his 90 min session down to $220 which is not bad for an NYC therapeutic quasi-sensual session by handsome and hung masseur. What’s also adjusted are the comments in this thread now trending mostly thumbs up.
  7. Have definitely seen this pics before. Either a name change or maybe on MF at some point. Also here: https://www.personaltouch.directory/amphtml/united-states/dumbo/gay-massage/andrew
  8. Mike! Yes, on 23rd. Talking around 2010. Love the combo cut & massage!
  9. Me too!! Thanks for posting. I missed the NYC run. Will try for Phili or DC.
  10. Ha! His Thai massage got good reviews when was RelaxWithKai!
  11. My go to for many years pre-Covid: Greenhouse on 14th! Tony, Troy, Alan and my fav Owen. Many a fine session by these guys.
  12. This is a timely thread. My haircut guy for the past 12 years has retired and moved back to Asia. Now I’m reminiscing back to around 2005 or so when there was an Asian masseur “Mike” who also had a mini salon in his apartment and offered a combo rub and cut. Anyone know of guys current offering this?
  13. Really feel bad for this guy. Indeed tech and info flow now make it almost impossible to be anonymous. I went to Hong Kong last month. First time in decades. Never talked to a single human being on entry. Your face and eyes are scanned automatically. Your passport is then auto-scanned and checked that it matches all the info the airline had to submit pre-arrival. One can only imagine what other big brother checks then happen. The entry gate either opens with a green light and you are in, or a yellow light flashes and you are directed elsewhere. Crazy and sad to think the RM activity got this guy detained.
  14. Thanks guys… I’ll give it another go I guess. I didn’t get through the 1st hour on my first watch.
  15. Yes, they do seem to be gone but oddly his videos are still there… Pedro_nyc - acompañante masculino - Sao Paulo, Brazil | Rent.Men ES.RENT.MEN Monkeypox vaxxed Masculine Brazilian guy from NYC, ready to have good times with you. Enjoy boyfriend...
  16. Back in NYC Feb 1.
  17. Dang… will miss his Cleveland visit by a bit. Wonder where is home city is?
  18. My comments are in the connected Freshmen spa (now AI) thread above from last May. Not sure if Allen and Daniel are still there.
  19. Sorry guys.. I hadn’t seen his RM ad and started a thread based on his MF ad. Thumbs up all around! He’s amazing. Moderators, you can combine these two threads. Merged by CoM Moderators.
  20. So with all the hype and rave for the gay hockey sensation that Heated Rivalry is… a serious take on rabid hockey fandom is Fredrik Backman’s Beartown where the hopes of a small, isolated declining town in Sweden are pinned on its junior hockey team. It’s a tough read. Had to put it down for a few days because of the triggering subject matter. But in the end, one of the best books I read in 2025. The beginning is a tad tedious with the introduction of so many characters. But Backman’s writing style really drew me into each character’s backstory. There’s also a gay theme which I suspect will be more prominent in books 2 and 3. HBO did a 5 episode series of the book in 2020 but it seems to have been removed. Will be interesting to see if they bring it back and continue on with trilogy given all the HR rave.
  21. https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/52027/ Trained, licensed, and totally legit session by a sweet, adorable and intuitive guy in Hells Kitchen. I was drawn to the combo accupuncture / massage offering having spent a miserable 25 hours flying from Asia. Wen knows the human body and how to treat it. His space is a tad cramped but the table was comfortable and heated. Highly recommend if you’re in need of serious treatment. Also does cupping if that’s your thing.
  22. 1995 - Tom Stoppard’s Arcadia in NYC has always stuck with me. Trevor Nunn directed Billy Crudup, Blair Brown, Victor Garber, Robert Sean Leonard, and Paul Giamatti. Left mesmerized.
  23. Honest Ed’s… Holy cheap drunk Batman! Remember them mashedtaters and peas very well back in the early 90s on King St in TO, but it was the $2 Manhattans that made for a quarterly lunch of no return. Alas, no Hudson or Connor types serving!
  24. Two episodes into Mare… love it. Nice to know it may have a second season.
  25. Per my post from a now closed thread started in 2017, David Henesy from the 60s daytime soap Dark Shadows. I was all of 7 years old. And I was obsessed!
