Stock Bar Montreal

Wishing Danny and George every success with Stock under their ownership and I hope Steven and Bobby enjoy a well deserved break.
I've had many great nights at the club and really hope a trip to Montreal to visit Stock remains a part of my summer for years to come.

I was surprised to read on the FB page that Stock would be sold.  I wish the new buyers well in this business venture.  I also wanted to take the opportunity to thank current owners Steven and Bobby for building such a great club for us all to visit over the years.  They really did turn Stock into an institution and quality establishment that set the standard for male strip clubs in North America.  I spent many nights there over the years and developed friendships with dancers and employees alike.    It felt like going home when I would enter Stock.  
Best wishes to Steven and Bobby with whatever opportunities they wish to pursue!!

That is DJ Anthony that has worked at Stock Bar since St Andre.
We hope he's not going anywhere soon. If it wasn't for DJ Anthony the live shows that kept many people entertained during COVID would not have gone on.

Due to the recent increase of COVID cases we have decided that the only possible way to protect our staff and customers is by closing the bar for the next 14 days.
 
It has become evident that social distancing in a bar is nearly impossible.
 
We will resume operations as soon as we feel we can safely do so.

No surprise the restrictions have been extended given how bad things are still in much of the US. This may continue through the end of the year unfortunately. All the best to our friends in Montreal We miss you!!

Canada has a Covid commercial rent relief program if you business is closed. Government pays 50% of your rent, landlord 25% and tenant 35%.

Glad I went to Montreal 3 times a year for the 4 years

I'm sorry to hear this but not really surprised. Operating a bar during this pandemic has to be very difficult. Kudos for making a tough decision.

I have been to the Gay Village many times at all times during the year. It has an eclectic feel to it, energetic, vivacious and all around just a lot of fun. Not sure what the reviewer was looking at, but it always puts a smile on my face to walk down the center of St Catherine or to set outside at one of the restaurant's outdoor seating areas and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the street. Sad that he saw it that way. Viva St Catherine and the Gay Village!

I read 3-4 pages of the reviews and the clear majority are positive. I have no idea what the OP is talking about here. The reality is that most people have a great time in Montreal's Gay Village....especially in the warmer months when the street is closed off and becomes a pedestrian walkway.

Unless your sitting at the stage the chances your face will be on the live feed is almost zero.
There are also MANY places inside the club that you would never be able to be seen while your there. (if you need help with those locations just ask the manager)
As for Face Book, those pictures are only taken on Ladies Night. Again, unless your sitting at the stage or posing for the photographer you wouldnt be in a picture.

Simply say to ANY server, or barman who is the manager or can he come to see me.
 
The results will solve your issue.
 
The dancers keep 100% of the money from private dances.
There is no advantage to the bar for dancer overcharging a customer.
