  1. Most divorced men do.
  2. Was that Ivanna T?
  3. I don't recall seeing any of his films but that maybe becuz I have seen so many period. Given his pics he would be hard to miss. A top and a bottom and straight. Quite the combo. That being said it seems he screwed up somewhere and that is totally sad. His descent to being virtually homeless as he apparently had no place to go if he had been discharged from the hospital is heart breaking. Not the first and won't be the last that this happens to, unfortunately.
  4. I saw where Subway is going to court over their claims that the tuna is real.
  5. If interest rates are pushed too high by the Fed and the Bank of Canada, it will provoke a recession. At that point the GDP starts to shrink and the debt to GDP ratio skyrockets. That's when the burden of government debt starts to weigh on the federal governments. Debt payments then start to crowd out other program spending like Social Security or Old Age payments in Canada, defense, education, health care etc. If governments aren't careful, as debt servicing charges increase as a proportion of overall government spending, the credit agencies start to lower their ratings on all existing debt. Then watch out. Printing more money will only lead to more credit downgrades and it becomes a vicious spiral. Governments then need to make painful spending cuts. It's happened before. In Canada's case in 1994. I was around to witness that personally.
  6. My last overnight, a couple of weeks ago, was at my home, where I have two bedrooms. For the occasion I set up one as a play area with a plastic mattress cover and a sheet over it. The other bedroom has a large antique bed which has seen lots of action since I bought it in 1986. Its very strong and is over 140 years old. He arrived at 10pm and we chatted a little to get to know each other (new hire). We went to play bedroom. It turns out he is very talented at watersports and can piss through his massive hard-on. (He had promised me and he delivered.) Round 1 and 2. It's now about 1am and we retire to big bed. Sleep 6 hours cuddling. I wake up first and wake his dick up. Round 3 in big bed. Then round 4 in other room with fresh sheet. He is fully loaded. Another messed sheet. Return to other room and sleep another 2 hours. We get up, shower, dress and we make breakfast together and eat outside in my gazebo. I drive him home. Will I see him again? Absolutely, in September when he gets back from a summer tour. And he kissed divinely which was the icing on the cake.
  7. I've been thinking about this too in Canada's case, which is similar to the US. Of course the two countries have to pay interest on their national debt and debt levels are very much higher than they were back when inflation was a problem like now. Of course the debt is staggered and a lot of the recent debt was incurred at very low, indeed historically low, rates. But older debt is coming due and will be rolled over at higher rates than what were available even 6 months ago. So where is the limit where governments cannot sustain radically higher rates in servicing their own debt.
  8. I disagree. Essentially is a very useful word. As a preface to what follows, it prepares the reader or listener to focus on the key message about to be delivered.
  9. The CBC has just announced that there are 133 cases in Ontario, most in Toronto. 8000 people have been vaxed. One can assume a not insubstantial number of these are Americans and not local residents. This is all good. I believe we gays are a community that needs to look after ourselves and look out for others too. With travel so prevalent again post Covid, disease respects no international boundaries. 131 cases in Toronto, essentially, the chances of encountering one of them is not negligible. The gay neighbourhood in Toronto is very compact, with bars, saunas and other gathering spots in close proximity.
  10. This might apply to the younger generation who were unvaccinated in their youth. As an older type I received two smallpox vaccinations, one in primary school and the other at university or about ten years apart. I now have my third shot so unless I get other advice, I am satisfied I have sufficient immunity.
  11. This is erroneous. There are NO restrictions at the clinic in Montreal. And no health card necessary. I was given the vax without using my out of province health card. The Americans who were there the same day obviously had no health cards.
  12. I took it to be a birthday party for the owner. Fete means holiday based on feast which is associated with holy holidays. I learned my French in the classical tradition, not as "comme on parle" as it is taught in Québec today. In conversation I would try to assess the context if the term came up. The invitation said it was for Jerry, not the club under his ownership, which led me to think it was his birthday.
  13. And a PhD from Harvard (pretty hard dick). 😀 Disclaimer(I borrowed that line from a provider in London)
  14. When it comes to dick measurements, I definitely prefer inches and the more the better.
  15. It's been 3 days now for me and no reaction. When I took the small bandaid off a day later there was a small red mark the size of a pea but no tenderness in the arm, unlike the covid booster I got a month ago.
  16. Abstinence is NOT the answer to this public health threat. Taking steps to protect oneself and thereby the larger community is the way to go.
  17. I'm not the person to ask but I have only spent one night in San Diego over 40 years ago. I was spending a few weeks in Laguna Beach and thought I would drop down to SD to see the sights. I enjoyed a day at the sea world and that evening after dinner dropped in at a gay club. On exiting I witnessed a murder (well the corpse lying in a pool of blood) but the police hadn't arrived yet. So I got out pronto. Went to my hotel and left early the next morning. Never went back.
  18. All the people I saw yesterday in Montreal getting vaccinated likely would not have qualified for the very narrow list of people eligible for a shot in LA. Los Angeles has a huge gay population and hundreds of male escorts catering to gay clientele. I would think those clients are concerned about contracting Monkeypox or if not should be. I was surprised somewhat yesterday when I contacted two providers, one a regular and the other a new one. Neither had had the shot yet. One said he had an appointment for next week. The other just said he will get around to it. Since no appointments are necessary and there is literally no waiting to get one and hundreds are being processed 7 days a week all day long, I found their dilatory approach lamentable.
  19. Why don't you go get vaccinated and report back how easy it is to do so. I don't know where you live so it will be useful to know where you have to go to get the vaccination. I'm assuming you will want to do so as soon as possible if you have sex on a regular basis like most of us on this forum.
  20. Something to be said for Italian models!
  21. The writer of the article was simply saying that the US is poorly prepared to deal with new pathogens or even old ones that surface in the US. This has been shown time and again going back to HIV. The fact that several American high profile posters on this forum have had to fly to Canada to readily access the Monkeypox vaccine shows this to be true. No panic mongering, just an assessment of the facts on the ground.
  22. I still have my smallpox vaccination certificate from 1966 and it states quite clearly on it that it is only guaranteed for three years. I showed it to the nurse yesterday and she couldn't find it on my medical file. I wasn't surprised given the age of the document. I don't know it had any residual effect as anything I have read is inconclusive. The 1966 shot was a booster to the vaccination I received in the 1950's in grade school. So the two vaccinations maybe set up my immune system so that the shot yesterday will be even more effective. However, Quebec hasn't ruled out a second shot for those who have only had this one vaccination. I imagine if cases continue to spread they may announce something in the fall
  23. Todays NYT has an article on Monkeypox by Apoorva Mandavilli that suggests the US may be losing the fight against Monkeypox. It does show the clinic in Montreal where I was today and a guy getting the shot in the triceps as I outlined above. I noticed they had staff cleaning each chair after a client had used it so their sanitary practices seemed up to snuff. And everyone wore a mask, as the picture also shows.
  24. Sometimes the ads are worth commenting on even if one has never met the provider. But some restraint is called for, I agree.
  25. I seem to remember that after he died, Liberace's estate was sued and the complainant won damages (I think it was a British tabloid).
