  1. if it's a provider that I might wish to see again but not in the near future, I will just text back that I'm either scheduled in this week or that I am in and out of town so will not be able to schedule; if it's a provider that I do not wish to see, I will just say I'm not available; if it's a provider who becomes a pest, I just delete the text or, occasionally, block the number.
  2. I have been thinking about why I like some photos and why I don't; a lot of times it's what I see in someone's face that attracts me; but sometimes it just an exceptional photograph like this one; first of all, he's a beautiful young man; but secondly, it's the photographer's composition of the young man with the bicycle up against a wall with casement windows; it's just a delight for the eyes!
  3. received one this morning, too; deleted it; could also block him, I suppose
  4. Something similar happened to me a few weeks ago; a guy who I have been seeing over the past 5 years works for a company that has a foundation that is putting on a big fundraiser soon; we've been talking about it for the last several months, but the big day is arriving soon; I have never done an internet search for his company, it's foundation or the event, but now on my Instagram feed, I am receiving almost daily posts about the event. Are our iPhones listening to our conversations?
  5. I didn't notice that; the role was played as a soft-spoken character and I got no hint of an accent
  6. both Blyth and Tovey are English; Blyth went to Julliard though
  7. I just got back from seeing this and totally enjoyed it. Tom Blyth plays an undercover policeman entrapping men at a mall men's room in 1997 Syracuse. Blyth's character, Lucas, is out to his former girlfriend but not to his family and cannot bear the thought of them finding out; Tovey's character, Andrew, is a married with children minister. I thought it was well done. here's a link to the trailer:
  8. I received the text too; it was not welcome; I saw him Labor Day weekend; my experience was OK, but not certain I would repeat
  9. there are several threads here that you should review; do a search and they will be there; I saw him when he was living in Tucson
  10. I have asked masseurs if they every receive massages themselves; that opens the conversations up; I may say that I am an amateur but do have a table, and it ends up us trading places; it's great fun!

  17. If you are a reader, you may look around for a book group. About 6-8 of us meet more or less monthly in the homes of each other for a meal and discussion; yes, we actually discuss the books, but we also discuss life as it unfolds for each of us; I find myself being energized after our gatherings. And, we are multi-generational gay men, ranging from late 30s or early 40s to late 70s; the younger guys pick books that I would have never read on my own, but it stretches my mind a bit and I find it delightful. This group was formed by invitation; a couple of us recruited guys we thought might be interested, and it has been ongoing for several years now; I suspect a local library or LGBTQ+ community center may know or even sponsor a group.
