For an initial meeting, I think 90 minutes is ideal but hard to negotiate. So I tend toward 2 hours. But after that, usually one. Honestly, this depends on where someone lives and their economic circumstances. I'm in NYC, and my main issue with paying for an Uber is that it will generally take longer than taking the train. It's the reason I take the train most places. So paying an extra $100-$200 (depending on the time of day) for it to take longer for a fit young man to travel to my house feels unnecessary. I'd rather he just calculate it in his fee.
