It's been a pretty good month for me with regulars. Seems like those who I haven't seen in awhile all booked this month although new clients down a lot. Most of the time it feels like 75 percent of new clients who reach out it goes absolutely nowhere while sometimes it can feels as high as 90 percent with the amount of time wasters. One of my regulars said I must be busy and I showed him all the calls/texts I get in a month and told him most of it goes nowhere and it was a lot of people playing games which he had no clue why anyone would waste an escorts time since he's always a reliable client. 
For those who think escorting is easy its not... with all the texts and calls and bullshit you gotta put up with a day its a real job haha

VERY this!  The massive population of men that have learned that RentMen is where you can go for free sexting with escorts.   And that is their hobby, not hiring at all.  Many of those folks populate this very forum. 
There's no overstating the impact of that population - soughing distrust - in all of our interactions.

Exactly. Would a client trying to haggle me and devalue my services likely be a resounding positive experience? No. 🚫
 
I’ll admit my rates are higher than most but I’ve been told services are phenomenal and I invest so much into my clients like real friends. Everyone who has had no qualms about rates have been amazing and special experiences - some clients for life. ✅🔥

On the flip side a few years ago I had been chatting with a guy on Craigslist when they had men seeking men.  He was very friendly, sent pics (very cute twink, my type), etc.  Gave me an address.  When I pulled up outside the house the curtains were open and through the window I could see a family sitting down for dinner.  I'm like wtf? Maybe he lives with his family even though he was definitely over 18.  So I texted to confirm the address thinking I had it wrong.  He texted that it was the correct one.  When I told him I could see a family having dinner, silence.  No answer to a couple more texts so I feel I was pranked, and I too drove over 45 minutes.

Yes, I never knock on hotel room doors. I always have them answer the door because you never know if they are being truthful.

I too am sorry this happened to you.  Great news from this elder, 99.999% of clients will only fuck you in the GOOD way.  :-)  Chin up.

It's sad but this seems to a classic prank. Many years ago I (before Covid) read on a site in Dutch to not knock or ring the doorbell but call them with the phone.

It's funny - the one time charge option came up on RMasseur and I was able to upgrade the membership, but it will not come up on Rmen.  I've tried a dozen times in the last week, but no luck with either the .eu or regular versions.

So this “client” gave me his address and when i knock on his door he goes…. did you get my number from a dating website because there has been someone that has been sending guys here so you’ve got pranked. Then before i leave he goes and don’t take pictures of my home. Then five minutes later he texts me “You wasted your time and money coming all the way here not me lol bye”
Haven’t had someone sent me to a fake address in years and i don’t know what could i have done. I did ask for a deposit but he said he only has cash. I literally traveled 1 hour each way in this cold snowing weather people are terrible. He sent me his face photo and mr number has no reviews of him so i thought it would be fine to travel without a deposit. Feel really down now not going to lie
 

My ad says texts are the quickest way to reach me and my preferred method as I can discretely answer you back wherever I am. These conversations always turn sexual somehow even if they say its not going to be haha and I aint got the time to do all that rated R mess in public on the phone lol.
It seems like however when these clients call and you don't answer they never leave a voicemail and a follow up text is 50/50. I don't have an issue to have a quick call if a client wants if its planned sometime before were scheduled to meet. 

Thank you for the kind words and response. I feel a bit better now. Someone who stops responding before you leave your place is one thing and common in this business but it's so evil to actually make someone travel all the way to you knowing you have intention to hire. I just felt a way because it hasn't happened to me in awhile and needed to vent. Sometimes I feel like Im a bit too nice haha but I will continue being optimistic. Have a good rest of your weekend

That’s quite the trek if you’re not used to venturing out of Manhattan!  Somehow my gut told me the “client” lived in South Brooklyn (I do as well)… I won’t go into politics etc, but we were a “red zone” at the height of Covid, so this does not surprise me at all.  At least you got to see a part of NYC you’ll probably otherwise have no reason to go to, and you’ll now be able to empathize with people like me who make that kind of commute every day!

So do I. We love guys who are willing to travel here. There are also quite a few providers who live in Brooklyn.

He also was sending me nudes which didn't look like him at all while I was trying to find his place so I don't think he was serious. It was rainy/snowing and dark so it was hard to read the house numbers lol I don't think there's anything I could have done or said to make him change his mind.

Whats weird is the photo the guy sent to me kinda looked like the guy who answered the door. So maybe it was the right address but the guy who answered said it wasn't him and that someone from the website was sending guys to his place as a prank.
