Is it me or does it feel like there’s a bit of a slowdown in great massage options these days. I get it - with the changes at 27 and HK, Paris closing, Seasons changing ownership, etc. things have been a little grey lately. But very desperate to find my new place in the village / Chelsea / EV / WV area. Anyone have any standout experiences lately? Anyone been to the following places and have a review with some names: Why Not, GMan, Seasons, Oasis, Energy Bodywork (on 14th), New Yorker? Trying to break the pattern of the usual and try out some new masseurs. Thanks!

Hey guys. Looking for the best table shower body scrub experience in NYC.  I've been to 27 and HK and have good experiences but looking to see where there is a true table shower experience. One that has shower heads always running.  I know one of the spa has a pic with several nozzles but not sure which one.  Open to hearing about experiences as well.  Thanks in advance. .

Whats the average tip for the guys at tsms.  I had a 70$ 1 hour massage with Charles and provided 50$tip.  Not many extra but a good massage 

I saw Gabriel recently for a 90-minute scrub/massage. The scrub was top-notch. The massage should get better as he keeps learning. He is even more attractive than his photos. A very nice guy who is very attentive to the customer's needs. I will repeat.

Like I’ve said it here before, I usually pay after the deed is done and the cum is dry, but I leave the money in plain sight on a table, a dresser or a nightstand: in the very few instances where the provider has asked to be paid in advance, I have just pointed the cash out to him, and it has reassured him. Never an issue in my 30+ years of hiring. Yes, I am an old-timer, a very old-timer. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think it's up to your own perception. 
I prefer to be paid after, but I do have clients some times pay me and with an envelope with the money, which is kind of odd but whatever works.   I have clients that advance pay me because they choose to do that....again, I don't like that, but that's what they choose to do. 

I hate the idea of paying first for a session.   It usually sets the tone off to a bad start and I almost expect a bad session..  thats just my experience.   When a massuer asks for money upfront I usually decline and move on. In my exp its never worked well. It doesnt give me the opportunity to tip.  I also get it from the massuer side they have probably been ripped before.

Thats my experience as well. I prefer to be clean before the massuer's touch me and they always allowed me to have a quick rinse shower before starting.   Happy Massaging

I've had Kenny a few times and he always provided a very sensual experience and has never pushed me for tip.  I generally tip 100% of the session though.  He even has said we should do a 4 hands with another massuer and midway during out last session pivoted to another massuer to finish. It was a great experience.  Looking forward to scheduling a 4 hands with them.....

I haven't seen Oliver yet but want to try him. I recently had a great session with Sebastian. Awesome massage and body scrub!!!!

I always ask the provider their rate. If it is above my budget, I tell them that and thank them for replying. I am always prepared to move on. I don't try to negotiate, but often I find that the provider will ask my budget (which is always reasonable) and they reset to accommodate. Treating people with respect and being flexible goes a long way in my experience.

To those who do that:  No I am not going to tell you what happens between me and the masseur behind closed doors, why do you think I would? You never help us about your experiences or reviews of masseurs , what makes you think we should help you?
