I have only ever booked on Rentmasseur, and I only do outcalls. That means that the masseur has to give accurate and complete information about his address. The better providers typically have a full description -- address, how to arrive by public transportation, parking availability, buzzer code if it is an apartment building etc. But on several occasions recently, crucial parts of the address instructions have been missing. There was one masseur who omitted to tell me that he was in the basement apartment around the back of a house. I knocked on the front door, which was opened by a young mother holding a baby. Then there was the occasion when I stood outside for ages in the Toronto cold because the buzzer for the apartment did not work. I ended up texting him: "oh yeh, I should have told you the buzzer was broken." Then there was the time I was given the incorrect buzzer code and I had to sneak into the building when somebody was exiting. So flakiness bugs me. It is surely not difficult to have a prepared text with all the relevant information. When seeing someone new, there is a certain apprehension, and having a smooth journey without hassle always gets things off on the right note.
