Well, it's kind of depressing that my posts here about these clubs have gone unnoticed. But, nonetheless, bjroosters is Atlanta's other strip club. The dancers dance on the bar in their underwear and are available for private dances in curtained-off private booths. In the back, it's $20 a song, and what goes on is determined by agreement between the dancer and patron before going back.

But, if you're in Atlanta, you might consider going to bjroosters, which has dancers and private rooms.

Pitt, just a little more information. You pay a cover charge at the door which entitles you sit in the main area and enjoy one or two dancers on the main stage. You can tip the dancers on stage or pay for a lap dance at your seat. Alternatively, you can pay a $15 fee to enter the VIP room and interact with the dancers there. You can do $20 lap dances with the dancers there or pay for additional time with the dancers in a spacious, very private room. The fee for those rooms begins at $140 for 15 minutes.

I wouldn't pay him $225 an hour.

After getting a haircut nearby, I stopped in at bjroosters today about 3:15 to check it out. Since, as of today, they're allowed to operate as a bar, they are no longer opening early serving food. They apparently are now open from 4-12 pm, with socially distanced seating. I think I saw a total of 7 seats around the three sides of the bar, with additional seating spread through the club. As I understand it, they have one guy dancing at a time in a designated position. Sorry, don't know when the dancers start or the rules for interacting with them are.

Bjroosters in Atlanta has reopened but changed their hours and operating rules. They're open from 2-10 pm, and the private booths are closed. Haven't been myself, so can't report more than that. Swinging Richard's is opening June 4th.

I've spent six long weekends at Johnsons in Ft. Lauderdale since they opened and have done dozens of private dances each trip. The dancers have almost always removed their briefs in the privates. I live in Atlanta and am looking forward to the Atlanta location opening. I imagine it will operate much like bjroosters here does now. The dancers will wear briefs in the public areas of the bar but remove them for private dances. Of course, it helps if the dancers know you're going to be spending money on them.

Johnsons Atlanta is opening in a former furniture store in the Ansley Square shopping center. They're shooting for a late March/early April opening. According to Matt, this location will not feature any nudity.

I would rank Johnson's as the best strip club in North America now, with Stock and bj's in Atlanta rounding out my top three.

The State of Georgia had nothing to do with the characterization of the dancers at strip clubs in Atlanta. The determination that they were employees, not independent contractors, was made by the federal courts in the Northern District of Georgia, which includes Atlanta. Those decisions were based on the judges' interpretation of federal labor law, not state law.

Swinging Richards could not have chosen to treat their dancers as independent contractors. The federal courts in Atlanta have ruled in several lawsuits that dancers at strip clubs have to be treated as employees, rejecting the clubs' claim that they are independent contractors. This holding is unlikely to be overturned in the foreseeable future.

I too enjoy spending time at bj's, but I'm afraid the club hasn't had heat for some time now.

I was at Johnsons last weekend, and had another great visit. Yes, the curtains have to be left open a few inches, but that didn't discourage any of the dancers I did lap dances with. I especially enjoyed my time with Federico, Steven, and Alexander. For those who like twinks, I encourage you to check the bar out early in the evening when a number of cute slender guys are dancing. I spent some time with Ian, a cute 22-year-old from Boca.
