  3. This is not in your area - but it's an excellent blog with several articles to educate you on HVAC systems. Hopefully it will help you before you put down a bunch of $$$$. https://asm-air.com/asm-air-conditioning-blog/ Good luck!
  4. Get the vaccine - the new one. I had chickenpox during my youth. Years ago, In middle age, I asked but was told I was “too young” to qualify for the shingles vaccine. You guessed it - I came down with Shingles - in middle age. Shingles was a BITCH - a REAL BITCH! You don’t want to deal with this. Shingles is also contagious. You would only want to pass it on to mortal enemies. It's just damn nasty. I’ve had recurrences of shingles, although much less severe. Still not pleasant. When I age qualified it was recommended that go ahead get the shingles vaccination because it could help reduce recurrence issues. So I did that (this would have been the old Zostavax version). I continued to have recurrences - but they were much more manageable. I recently got the new Shingrix 2-dose version. 3 months apart. Shingles can still recur - but I will do whatever I can to keep that nasty virus at bay. I was told the old vaccine was about 50pct effective. The new one is supposedly 90pct effective. So get the Shringix shingles vaccine series - and keep all your immunizations current.
  5. It sounds like you have very basic requirements. “Internet Speed” has little correlation with your computer “Processing Speed” requirements. Although highly simplified a very, very high quality 4K video, at 60 frames per second, runs around 1GB/sec. You are unlikely to find such a high quality video source from any of your listed sources. It is more likely that you will pulling video at rates far under 100MB/sec. A lot of internet connections stream “HD quality” at under 10MB/second. Here’s some math: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?70671-4K-RAW-data-rates Now most computer processors operate well above 1000MB/sec (1GB/s) and also have multiple “cores” (2 or more) doing that processing. Bottom line is that your chosen COMPUTER will have the “Processing Speed”, probably by a factor of 100+, to handle streaming video from your internet sources. Now whether you have the iINTERNET CONNECTION speed to support your needs is a separate matter entirely. Here’s a website that might help with your computer choice: https://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/best-laptops-1
  6. Maybe something really different then. Like entertainment division on a huge cruise ship. But be very careful IRT extracurricular activities.
  7. Noticeably absent from your “put me off” list is Texas. By population US city ranks are: 4 - Houston 7 - San Antonio 9 - Dallas 11 - Austin (Hub) 16 - Fort Worth 50 - Arlington Day travel (maybe) 27 - Oklahoma City 49 - New Orleans
  8. Keep in mind that ALL public areas likely are under 24/7 recorded video surveillance.
  9. There have been some amazing advances in spinal treatments in recent years. I encourage you to get a second and third opinion. Talk to spine specialists. Below is an article that might be of interest. In the article is a list of hospitals that may have the specialists you need. https://health.usnews.com/health-care/for-better/articles/minimally-invasive-spine-surgery-what-to-know
  10. The thread below may be helpful. And further down that thread (post #9) are links to even more conversations about Client < > Escort relationships. https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/a-client-in-love.127317/

  12. It’s all kinda mysterious. But sleuthing around - If you log in and go to your “Profile” there is a page that shows (date) Joined / Messages / Ratings / Points Digging out my calculator it appears that “Points” are directly related to “Trophies” which is listed further down that same page. “Trophies” are awarded on various things like Number of Messages posted Number of “Likes” you have received A big “Trophy” is awarded for donations towards forum support Also, if you click the “Terms and Rules” at the bottom of the page it will take you to a page that further describes how Trophies are awarded.
  13. Not an escort but… Can you? Sure. But don’t give up your current day job. I noticed you said you’ve been browsing the forums for a few years. So here are some old threads that may be refreshers in your inquiry. They can get long and contentious - so get yourself a cup of coffee and settle in for a reading session. Photos. Hard to avoid. Different ways to approach the challenge. Some clients seek “anonymity” and don’t want to be seen in public, or be visited in their private residence or hotel, by a traceable escort. Don’t lie with your photos. They should be you. If photos are a great concern here’s an idea for the face. Take several different pictures. Use different angles, lighting and background scenarios. Slice and dice different photos. Maybe one just shows an eyebrow with part of an eye. Maybe another is left cheek. Another a portion of the lip and chin. They are separate pictures. But they are you. A person can get a good impression of what you look like. But the pictures are next to impossible to put together to make a composite that is google searchable to lead to you. Never use any photo (or any part of a photo) that you use in an ad, or provide to a prospective client, that comes from a photo used in social media. Keep them quite small and at a low resolution so they pixelate quickly if someone tries to enlarge them. The idea is to be able to have “plausible deniability” if a photo falls into grandma’s hands. 14. At a refinery flaring is typically done to prevent over pressurization of equipment. If not done it could result in explosion (worse case) or, more likely a relief valve will lift and release the gas that is causing the over pressurization. Most of this gas would likely be a high methane concentration. Methane is estimated to have 30+ times greater global warming potential than CO2. So, by flaring, the effect of environmental damage is actually reduced vs just letting the gas escape unburned. But the real goal is to process the gas, at safe pressure levels, to preclude flaring. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_flare
  15. It will be difficult to get unbiased feedback. The following link might have about as good information as you can find to compare. You can sort the tables by clicking on the column headings. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_antivirus_software
  16. Maybe try something like this: Send him a final warning to “cease and desist or face the consequences” and attach the link I gave you above.
  17. If he’s using his military position to access restricted information such as “number faking technology” he would face severe discipline if that was found out. His “declaration of service” would not protect him. If he should read this he should know that I would refer him to an Article 15 Investigation if I knew his name - regardless of his rank or position. That investigation would be severely damaging to his career. Don’t put up with this bullshit. Save your evidence. Each service has an Office for the Inspector General. Phone numbers can be found online. This link can give you some guidance: http://www.dodhotline.dodig.mil/hotline/filing_info.html Edit: Misunderstood that he might be a forum member so edited that out.
  18. My experience is that masseuse students know how to do deep work. Some of the very best deep massages I’ve had were done by females. I specifically remember one who was also quite petite. I think it may have something to do with “proving a point” that they’re not wusses. When you schedule indicate you’re looking for deep tissue. The school will likely try hard to pair you accordingly. They don’t want bad reviews.
  19. I have no experience with the clinic in your title. But I’ve had favorable experiences with other massage school clinics. It’s all about expectations as to whether you, and others, might find a school clinic a good choice. If your focus is getting a good massage read on…. What you can expect: It will be a 100pct professional environment. Appointments are often required. As a state licensed massage therapy school they are subject to unannounced and random inspections. What that means is: The facility will be clean. Linens will be clean. Students will be clean. There will be real massage tables. Some schools have very nice facilities with individual rooms that have lighting control and relaxing music. Some student clinics are held in a gymnasium environment with little more than moveable screens between massage stations. Find out about their student clinic facilities. You will always be appropriately draped as the therapist works on different areas. Yes, they might work on half of a bare buttock at a time. The other side will be draped and tucked. If you’re uncomfortable about that you should make that known to the therapist at the outset and / or wear shorts. It’s not uncommon for the massage to include face, scalp, hands and feet. Some schools offer different session lengths. The students will have progressed beyond the basics before being allowed to work in the student clinic. You will experience different levels of competence if you repeat visit. It’s not uncommon for some therapists to have actually graduated and now working in the clinic to obtain the required “hands on” hours needed to get their license. For your first visit expect to arrive a bit early and fill out a medical questionnaire. If you have particular aches and pains let your therapist know so they can focus on the appropriate areas. Provide feedback. You will likely be asked to complete an evaluation form on the student at the end. What not to expect: Anything sexual. Do not get yourself blacklisted for anything that could be construed as sexual harassment or solicitation. I typically discretely slip a tip to the therapist, away from the school staff, at the end. School is expensive. I go when I want the focus to be massage - just massage. I always shower just before going. Just try to relax. I’ve never had the same therapist twice. I’ve never had a “bad” massage at a school. A very high percentage have been very good. I don’t care if they are male or female. You’re face down most of the time. When face up they may cover your eyes with a towel.
  20. Possible defense for the auto shop: Tire shops often draw from a regional tire warehouse. It may be they didn’t have your tire(s) “on the shelf” and had to send someone to the warehouse to get them.
  21. Tires have a “date of manufacture” code on their sidewall. A tire shop should be able to decipher the code for you. From there it should be fairly easy to determine if the tires are “new” or not. Keep in mind that a tire may have been “on the shelf” for a year or two before it was mounted on your car. Tires should typically be replaced, regardless of wear, prior to the 6-10 year point of manufacture. https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=11
  22. Here's another river cruise company that might fit your interests. https://www.vikingrivercruises.com
  23. Maybe a river cruise. You only have to unpack once. Some vessels have single staterooms. But cheaper if you can share a room. Food is typically very good. Crew is very pampering. Download brochures: American Queen Steamboat Company (4 vessels) https://www.americanqueensteamboatcompany.com Victory Cruise Lines (now owned by American Queen Steamboat Company) https://www.victorycruiselines.com St. Lawrence Cruise Lines (Canadian Company) https://www.stlawrencerivercruise.com
  24. Too many variables. Responses could be two weeks in the wilderness on a photography expedition - or jet setting to as many hot casinos as possible. You need to give the community here some more guidance on what you’re looking for. Do you have days or weeks? Is cost a major factor?
  25. Previous historical threads with additional links in them: https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/how-much-money-do-you-make-per-week.115235/
