Has anyone used them for short term rentals? VRBO is a little low rent at this point. I have a few speciality local agencies for Lisbon, Paris and a few other spots. But these guys look good.

Are the pickings that slim down there? Wasn’t he in a Hitchcock movie? Or a John Waters remake of one? I’m not sure I’ll sleep tonight.

As a core “investment” residential real estate (my home) has been really solid over a number of decades and you get the benefit of living there. I don’t understand gold the way I do real estate or stocks. And gold has been through wild swings.

Great advice. But I’d try to avoid being in the situation to begin with. There are truly toxic people who get off on that at some level, for some reason. I don’t share my travel plans with my siblings. We’ll meet for a dinner because I’m “passing through.” I’ll have a very stiff drink beforehand. Many of these meets are part of a “business trip.” Theatre and the opera are great ways not to have to talk with the wretches. Avoid, control and minimize.

I was hoping to be the greatest role to slip through his fingers. But I did’t measure up.

I know! What is the world coming to when a rub and tug provider acts like a bit of a hustler. Tuggers with no respect for the integrity of tugees. When I was posted in the Vatican in the 70s it was not like this. The boys knew where they stood, or in the case of the more talented ones, kneeled.

I wont’t say queeny but . . . aspiring royalty. Clearly disdains his role as a HK rub and tugger. Never got over missing out on that role in CATS (the Guam Carnival Cruise Line tour.)

I don’t have a problem with people in lower end service jobs making more. To me, the idea that someone in a full time job needs welfare to survive seems perverse.

Lots of talent there because of the fashion industry.

I’ve had to effectively disown my sisters. When the nephews were young, I made an effort but all very controlled. Separate houses or hotels. I love to travel but there are not that many people I want to spend that much time with. Guests, like fish, begin to smell after 3 days. The decay time is far quicker with toxic family.
