  1. I am not willing to host or pick up the hotel tab for a meeting. What I’m saying is that if the provider is booked at a hotel I’m not comfortable with, then I don’t hire him. So as a client, I think I am entitled to know which hotel he is booked at so I can make my decision.

There are so many providers out there who book at good hotels and they’re getting my business.

And that’s perfectly understandable. I am not condoning going to a shady hotel or area of town for an appointment. It’s a security risk. And I’m not saying I stay at those hotels either, so you don’t have to parade that provider’s are getting your business.

At the same time, just know that sometimes the options are limited. Hearing about a murder at a hotel after your appointment, shouldn’t be the provider’s fault.

I am also saying it doesn’t matter 2 fucks either, whether I stay at the Hilton DuPont Circle or the Econo Lodge Phoenix. People don’t show up any less for me at a budget motel than a 4 star hotel.

  2. I feel like getting a hotel in many cities nowadays, is like putting a deposit on an apartment. They want to fucking kill you, just to sleep on a bed for the night. Some places in Dallas wanted $300 deposits. For a 2.5 star hotel!

They done lost their goddamn mind out here. And the rat infestation in California from the homeless (partly due to hotels rising their prices purposely to keep homeless people OUT) is going to spread Bubonic plague all over again and kill everybody out there.

  3. The provider’s location and hotel choice are one of my main considerations in confirming a booking.

I have canceled appointments once or twice because I did not like the hotel the provider was booked in. And no, I did not pay cancellation fees. The providers knew I was picky with their hotel choice.

Ok, well...that’s unfortunate but if that’s an issue for you, perhaps you should host or pick up the hotel tab for someplace more expensive. There’s been many times I’ve been in a city and had to go budget for a night or 2, because I spend my client’s money wisely. I don’t say, “one $250 appointment will cover the costs of that $150 hotel”. Well fuck, I may only get 1 client that night. I’m not fucking for $100. I go with the best value for what I need.

As I’ve said before, I’ve stayed in everything from motel 6 to the Westin and every brand of Mariott and Hilton. It’s not the name or the location, it’s the overall suitability of the hotel. I usually always book a king sized bed. I’ve gone to clients place at 4 star hotels, and they have 2 double beds. It’s uncomfortable for me to massage and fuck on a double bed. And in case you don’t know, I’ve compiled a list of hotels in 3 different cities, known for being expensive hotels, taken today. And this is on Priceline, this is not even their regular rates:

  4. Wait. Time Out!

Do I understand the above to mean you threatened to BLACKMAIL a client if he canceled the session?? You then EXTORTED a “cancellation fee” from him significantly higher than would have been due?

How do you Plead @Mocha ?

Children, calm down. You getting all riled up without understanding the actual facts. And drop all the words of extortion and blackmail. The cancel fee wasn’t even more than 100. So chill the F out. It’s not like I was asking for a million dollars.

1st off: he wasn’t a “client”. He was someone from adam4adam who’s been contacting me every time I go to his city for atleast the past couple of years. He’s never booked. I never paid him no mind, until he pissed me off on 4th of July, when I was only offering sessions on a limited time.

On the last time, he seemed to have finally balls up, and wanted to go forward with the session, his words. He was trying to get my address, texting incessantly giving me point by point info of where he was. He then backed out by saying I was too expensive, and when I asked how much he would be open to consider, he said ZERO. But then said $40. So then why the FUCK would he be contacting me then? And sending me naked pics of himself? Then, he stopped responding and just completely blew me off.

So he basically blatantly wasted my time, and then from there is when I presented my cancellation policy. Then he got nasty, and I had to get nasty right back.

So please, get the facts before you go accusing somebody. Be a sex worker for a day, and then you can talk some shit.

That’s why I said in another thread, my bad client list isn’t actually for clients, but for people like him. I think I finally trained his ass to stop fucking people around...because his tune changed. They think it’s cute and funny to do that stuff, but I’m not the one ☝?I didn’t contact him, he contacted me. Therefore he needs to yield to my way of doing things. It’s not a game of you contact me and boss me around, and tell me what you are and aren’t going to pay.

  5. and many hotels have 48 hour cancel and not 24 so you have to check what you are booking and plan accordingly

Exactly, and some (like Mariott) even make you pay in advance as well if the rooms are being booked during a hot week.

Hotels are a bitch. They want the most amount of money, give you the least amount of time in them, and cram in the most amount of people. That’s why air bnb is taking over. I have the app, but I haven’t done air bnb personally because many of the rooms are booked weeks ahead of time, and personally I don’t like the concept of it because it messes with the rental market, and too many people out here are trying to play landlord and make a living. I’ve also met hosts of air bnb properties on Grindr, and they can be as sneaky, greedy and money hungry as the hotel chains, trying to be a pimp and sell their couch/rooms/apartments. It’s sleazy to me, and after 2: I’ll never get personally involved with anyone who is an air bnb landlord.

I’ve known clients who had spare rooms and extra space, and when asked if they would rent it out on air bnb, they usually say no. I also know of people who get apartments for the purpose of renting them on air bnb, I’m not particularly fond of that either.

  6. onr point I haven’t mentioned is timing in booking. Your $296 hotel would likely be $130-150 if you purchase it far enough

Ah good read indeed! Did you see 2018’s revision?

Says whom? I've often seen hotels already have their rates set high weeks in anticipation of an event. You're not understanding my drift here: I couldn't book/purchase far enough in advance. For 2 reasons: 1 is because I am unexpectedly in the city earlier/longer than planned (it was a plan B), but it worked out because I picked up extra clients by doing so.

And 2, I told you I don't plan hotels far in advance. Why would i? In 2019, it makes no sense for me to. Most of my clients nowadays book the same day or the next day. The times I've tried to book trips and hotels weeks ahead of time, it never works because the same people available 2 or 3 weeks ago, don't usually be available when I get to town.

In the last 3 days, I've had 4 clients...all of whom booked the day of or for the next day. The days of planning hotels ahead of time have passed. And in reality, they never were to begin with. Only twice in 10 years, have a booked/paid for hotels days/weeks ahead of time: once in Boston and the other in Chicago. Both turned out to be near disasters because nobody who contacted me during the time I had my ad up, showed up.

Even during 2009-2015, I used to have an email folder of guys who would contact me in each city (Salt Lake City was one of them) I planned, and contact them before I arrived into town. It worked then, but it doesn’t work anymore. Apps ruined that. I tried doing that the other day, reaching out to those who contacted me in a city I was pre-advertising in. Non of them were available.

So it would be foolish of me to book a hotel in advance of going anywhere, before verifying that the people would actually be available when I get there.

  7. Marriott has a very wide range of hotel brands. I’d much prefer the points, status perks, and overall great experiences being loyal to one brand. If you ask many business travelers out there, I’d bet they would agree with me on that with both hotels and airlines. Loyalty helps both parties out but if you’re after the cheapest cost savings option, there’s always that too.

Well I’m not looking for the cheapest cost savings...I can be picky. And I’ve had the odd client get scared off from a budget hotel, but unless they’re paying my rate and hotel, it’s irrelevant. But I usually never have to pay more than $90-100 a night for a hotel in any city. The only time I’ve done that this year, was in Palm Springs, and I was trying to stay as close as possible to $100.

But regardless, I’ve stayed in all brands, for under $100. I just checked my center console, I’ve got Marriott, Hilton, and Sheraton room key cards on me lol. But...over the weekend I stayed at Days Inn because I wasn’t going to pay $300 a night to stay someplace during an event where everything is pretty much sold out

And here’s a little secret: Most of my best sex encounters had been at budget hotels: Travelodge, Days Inn, etc. I feel guys are more inclined to go to the smaller in/out motels versus some towering hotel where they may walk a mile only to realize the guy isn’t what their pictures are.

As long as the hotel isn’t a complete dump or unsafe looking, one shouldn’t have any issue getting laid in them lol.

  8. @Mocha Marriott Bonvoy is the name of the Program. Like Hilton HHONORS. Levels are:

Ok...I get it now. I just checked the site, but I thought Mariott Bonvoy were their vacation/luxury brands only. I guess the merging of Sheraton called for a name change that covered all the brands, not just Mariott.

But whatever. If you want to be that saddity type of escort that only stays at the Mariott, more power to you. Tonight I’m staying at a Red Roof Inn. It’s not dirty or dingy, but it’s not Mariott or Hilton either. And when I checked Mariott.com in the city I’m in, the only availability is a $296 hotel in downtown and a $107 a night hotel way the hell out somewhere far from town.

So, superficial hotel name dropping is irrelevant to me. I’ve stayed in everything from the Westin Crystal City to the Motel 6 in Palm Springs. Makes no difference

  9. You’d be hard pressed to find a city Marriott isn’t in considering there final official merge with SPG. It appears the issue here is using Priceline. Hotels view these bookings as bottom priority. You don’t receive any reward member perks, points, or anything.

If you worked with that client, it’s great. What isn’t great is making promises if a time and hosting when you couldn’t cover that 100%. You gambled on the fact the hotel would let you Check out late.

I’m talking about Mariott Bonvoy. I think they’re different levels. Mariott and Mariott Bonvoy. I know all about Mariott, a client of mine in Florida was trying for 2 years to get me to join their team, but I’m just not into hospitality industry.

I also didn’t “gamble”, I was just doing what they usually let me do...pay for later check out. But they switched up on it. And yes, that’s why for awhile I stopped using Priceline because I know you tend to get less treatment, but not always. That’s a myth. I once booked a hotel thru Priceline in Phoenix, and I got extreme sick from something due to the pool, and they paid me $3,000 and gave me a free night voucher.

  10. My issue is when people cancel because, and I can not make this up, “I found someone for free.”

Yes, you can cancel on me if you find a better, cheaper option. It’s understandable and it makes sense.

Oh HELL no. I wouldn’t take that shit. I don’t care if they found someone cheaper or free, that’s disrespectful. The human body is not a store or shelf item or piece of meat to be swapped out for a cheaper cut. To cancel because someone found someone cheaper shows a lack of moral and responsibility on the clients end...and most of those clients aren’t worth meeting because they see us as slaves, not as persons in business. That’s what they did in the slavery days: Auction off and try to get the biggest negro for the least amount of money. That’s why I DESPISE that type of mentality. You don’t have to pay me $1,000, but don’t tell me how another guy is cheaper.

And as far as someone finding someone for free: I had a guy try to bullshit me like that over 4th of July. He’s like, “I don’t want to pay your rate, I only got $40 I won at the casino”. Then he went out to say: “If it were up to me, I would pay you ZERO because I don’t pay for sex. AND THEN, he didn’t show up after I GAVE THE ADDRESS TO MY FRIEND’S HOUSE.

I was LIVID. I told him he’d better get my cancellation agreement to me ASAP, otherwise those naked pictures he sexually harassed me with (according to Texas law anyway) will be going to his kids who he said were in college. Let’s just say I got more than $40 haha ?

I’m too old to be dealing with disrespect. I put up with a lot of shit in my younger escorting days, nowadays I have 0 tolerance. At the same time, I been having to coach myself and tell myself not to go TOO hard on them. I almost went off on a guy who cancelled yesterday, and then later we rescheduled and he said he had a friend over.

We ended up meeting and had a hot 2 BBC on 1 White guy session. The session was epic, and I think the other guy who was there was his “free” friend. So...I’m trying to exercise patience, compassion and humility in some circumstances. Just don’t accept blatant disrespect.

I am leaning more to asking and asking again before just immediately kicking them to the curb. I’ll admit I’ve pushed away what could of been a few good regular clients this year in the process.

  11. @Mocha Do you think scheduling a session on check out day after normal check out was wise? In most scenarios it’s a hard stop unless you have it prearranged but even this is iffy unless you can use your hotel status. It’d be my recommendation to stick with one hotel brand. I have Ambassador status with Martiott Bonvoy program. I can check in at any hour essentially and 4 pm Check outs are standard with no questions asked.

This is just one perk among many. You’ll find many answers to be yes rather than no even with mid level status with a hotel.

I’m a member of Mariott and I have a client who works for them so I get F&F discount also. So I know about them. Mariott Bonvoy isn’t in all cities as far as I know. I’m also platinum and diamond with 2 other hotel chains. But I still use Priceline when I feel like it. In some cities, Priceline is just going to be the best deal.

Also, like I said...I didn’t schedule him for that time. That was the only time he had available. He scheduled that, and he also said that was the only time he could meet that week. He lives out of town, I live out of town. Yeah I went out of my way for a client, are you saying I’m wrong for doing that too? ??‍♂️

Cancelations are unavoidable. They’ll always happen. Even No Shows. You can take every precaution imaginable and still have it happen. I’d suggest you just brush it off, wish them well and move on. If they canceled for a real reason, being sweet to them will only pay off positively for you in the future.

A very good client of mine cancelled when I traveled to his city for his birthday. I arranged other appointments in addition to him but we both know that this particular city isn’t a great market for me. He had real excuses and felt terrible. He actually still paid me in full, despite my telling him not to.

This business is about building relationships and treating people right.

To your last sentence: you’re right. Like Trump said: ON BOTH SIDES. Can’t just be the escort treating the client right, client needs to treat escort right too.

I disagree HIGHLY on your other bolded points though. You may be okay with people cancelling on you and brushing it off, if that’s okay...that’s your life and time. I don’t fault you for it. But don’t fault me for how I do things because I would be the last person to brush something off.

I’ve TOO many instances where I’ve made big concessions to meet clients, and they CANCELLED. There was a time I left my deceased grandmother’s sick bed, to drive across the Florida Everglades to meet a client who we planned an evening session with. Fort Lauderdale/Miami can be excruciatingly slow business and traffic wise, but I was willing to drive the distance.

Halfway driving thru, he tries to cancel because I had let him know I was arriving slightly later than planned. I was NOT having it. I texted him after we got off the phone and said if cancelled on me, after I left my grandmas sick bed and drove halfway, that’s an asshole move.

He ended up keeping the appointment, and even ended up taking me to dinner and paying for the hotel and letting me keep the hotel he booked, and paid.

If you’d of let that slide and brushed it off and wished them the best, you’re a pushover.

  12. Ok so the new question is why chastise clients asking where you’re staying when that seems to be the traveling escort industry standard? How is a client to know you do things differently?

Chastising? Who is chastising anyone? I simply answered your question and said that I don’t book hotels ahead of time, for the reasons stated. I’m not going to book a bunch of hotels ahead of time in every city I plan to touch and then cancel if shit doesn’t go exactly as planned, because some places have more than 24 hours that you need to cancel. Also Priceline and Hotwire bookings can’t be cancelled unless you have good reason...and even then they’ll only let you do once or twice a year.

I travel EVERY MONTH, many times for 2-3 weeks at a time. Do the math. It wouldn’t make sense to have hotels already booked and lined up.

Even if I did...I don’t know where it says in the escort service manual, that an escort should give out their hotel location to someone who simply texts them asking where they’re staying. I don’t know where it says that’s standard. That’s not the standard, where did you hear that from? Because as far as I know, safety and common sense would say to give out address info AFTER the appointment is confirmed. Not area of town, because I’m going to always tell them what area of town. I’m talking ADDRESS.

Why? I’m going to explain to you and everybody else why, because I don’t have to defend myself on this topic. Because it wouldn’t make sense for someone to be telling every person who texts them what hotel they’re at, only to get, “oh that’s too far, something came up, etc.”

I had someone tell me that yesterday: I gave him my area of town first, we confirmed and then I gave address over the phone, and he immediately said, “that’s too far, I hate that area of town...too much traffic”. I said dude, duuuuuude, it’s a SUNDAY. There’s no traffic! I drove here 30 miles from Illinois and got here in 25 minutes ??‍♂️ Fortunently he came thru.

You want to know another reason why I don’t? I had some f**king ba**ard years ago call my hotel room in Denver 20 times on “his way there” and ring up my goddamn phone bill in the room. Never fucking showed up. So that’s why I don’t give out my hotel address or room number until the DAY OF unless it’s an overnight or special arrangements.

Don’t tell me what’s standard. My security matters more than what’s standard.

..oh and I also had a guy in Chicago who was staying at the same hotel as me. He didn’t sound serious off the bat, and his a4a profile was saying “he’s not generous” but yet he’s asking me for a paid appointment.

He asks me: what room are you in? I said: let me know when you’re to the 2nd floor and I’ll wave out the door to my room. As expected, never showed up but wanted to know where I was. Creep.

  13. Very accurate observation @manTOman

Much as I understand your frustrations and frequent complaints about your business @Mocha, this seems to suggest a lack of organisation on your part. I’m surprised the Client is still waiting...

There’s no lack of organization on my part. I was already in the hotel and set up. I couldn’t extend a late checkout because there was a wave of people who had arrived due to some tournament in the area, which got cancelled anyway because of the rain. I had offered the client to meet at a different time/day, he wasn’t able to. I stayed at this same hotel two weeks ago and there was no problem with me doing a late checkout. But today, they told me and I overheard them say, they aren’t doing any late checkouts.

I can’t always control when hotels decide to either A) not let anyone check in until a certain time and B) not let anyone stay past checkout. That’s why I often tell clients the dead zone hours for me to host while I’m at a hotel is between 11 am and 2 pm. Either I have to check in, check out, or waiting for maids to clean.

That doesn’t make me disorganized, that’s just the limitations clients need to understand when booking a traveling escort.

And by the way...he waited and we just went to the bar until my room was ready. And we f**ked and I got paid. People understand more when they see things happening in real time, versus just texting about it over the phone.

  14. As of now, I’m in the middle of a fucking hotel fiasco as I type. Client drove an hour to the city at 12:30. Hotel I was at wouldn’t let me late checkout or extend (is Hilton which normally they do as they did last time, even after I offered to pay extra) Too late to tell the client don’t come as he already started en route. Two hotels nearby wouldn’t let me to check in until 2. Client still waiting and now the hotel that said I could check in at 2 has a goddamn line of people.

Just can’t make this shit up ??‍♂️

  15. May I ask you why you have not had your hotel confirmed when you’re already advertising? I’m sure they want to see if your location will be convenient. Some clients prefer downtown or maybe outside if it. Will they need to pay parking? How ar will their drive be? Etc.

Okay...so when I was in Palm Springs, I had my hotel set like 2 months in advance. In that situation, I did have my hotel confirmed because I knew it was a sure thing going on.

However, on my way to Palm Springs, I was going thru 3 other cities, but didn't have hotels confirmed. It was more of a “book as I go” situation.

In those situations, it doesn’t always make sense to book hotels ahead of time. I may travel differently from some other escorts. I don’t fly to cities, therefore I don’t book accommodations days and weeks ahead of time. I generally advertise about a week or 2 in advance, and even then I may not even have specific dates. I only put specific dates once I get there or shortly before. And even those a subject to change. I don’t like to travel play by play, I prefer to have a bit more flexibility. At the same time, that may also come with a little bit of uncertainty.

I recently had that play out in full effect: I was traveling around the 4th of July weekend, and was planning to stay in 1 city until about the Friday or Saturday after the 4th. But shit came up (my car broke down, and some lady backed into my friend’s new BMW i3 in the store parking lot...which has an all glass tailgate...nuff said), and I ended up staying in that city thru the middle of the next week.

I had to change all of my travel dates, as I was going to be traveling by ground thru 4 cities before reaching my main destination, the 5th City. I did miss a couple appointments out of it. It wouldn’t make sense to book a hotel for all 5 of those cities in succinct fashion.

  16. And Mocha is the VW Rabbit with the Check Engine Light on! I kid man! Couldn’t resist

Oh hail to the mother, no lol. If you’re going to compare me to Euro...it’s going to have to fit my age and personality at least. If I was a German car, I’d be this 1987 Merc, except the white woman would be a guy riding me ?

    hqdefault.jpg

You on the other hand, considering you’re 27 and have quite a large “badonk-a-donk” on display, I’d say you fit the description of this 1992 suburban:

    92124151990214.jpg

  17. I’m in the Phoenix “area” several times a year. There are quite a number of masseurs and escorts who advertise as being in Phoenix who are actually in one of the neighboring cities, from Sedona to Ahwatukee. When I looked on the rentmen map for the location of a guy I was thinking of hiring, it showed him being in downtown Phoenix. When we set an appointment and I asked him for the address, it turned out he was at least 25-30 minutes (depending on the traffic) SE of Phoenix, nowhere near where I thought I’d be going.

Here's the thing: whenever we move our ads to a different city as the "home" location, The rentmen map automatically places us in the downtown area. Some people may not have changed it to their actual area.

  18. I’m sick of having this same issue with people who are visiting Vegas. It seems like this summer there’s been an influx of guys who will flake if you do tell them where you are hosting and guys who ask for no reason other than to say its too far. It’s become a major annoyance and slight hinderance.

I know, it's tragic this summer. And I know about Las Vegas. It's not that far to get around anywhere there. But I can assume the tourists expect you to be right next door in a casino hotel, like in the movies, waiting naked and smoking a Cuban.

Here's my thing, if an escort is not convenient: GET A ROOM. That's the problem with these guys. Some are too cheap to get a room. A room in Las Vegas is $20-$50 a night. When I want to fuck in different city, I get a room. Free sex or paid sex. I don't wait for people to host and be close by to me. I'd be waiting forever for that, because most gay (and straight/bi) guys under 50 can't host. And the ones who talk about getting a room are liars. They do that shit on purpose to get a rise. Call me talking about they can get a room if I can't host. Then don't even do it. I had that yesterday, except for me: I had a room already, and he still didn't show up.

But they can keep playing games, and I can just keep collecting cancellation fees. I've received about a handful of them since the weekend prior to the 4th of July. At this point, I'm collecting just as many cancel fees as actual meetings. Two can play that game.

    91hUcyYgu1L._SX342_.jpg

  19. Agree with most everyone here. “Where are you hosting” is a perfectly legitimate question for reasons stated, especially in bigger metroplexes.

Also, most chains will let you book and cancel up to 24 hours in advance in case you just need to say you’re staying somewhere, but I know you know this.

On the issue of confirmations, I’ll say I’m almost neurotic at this point about confirmations. I will confirm the week of, and then again the day of. If they don’t respond, I assume it’s not happening and don’t stress about it. And I don’t travel to a city unless I have 3 confirmed appointments.

I know some guys, like jake Jennings will send a text that says “CONFIRMED” with all the information like time, hotel, and rate.

But I suppose the moral is to not assume that that our interests are always aligned to client interests and to not assume anything.

Yeah, and I understand it's important for clients to know where we are hosting and I understand it has to be convenient. As for confirming, I did pretty much as you described it with someone who booked a session last night, for the morning...but then had some excuse why he couldn't show up. And location was not a factor.

However I agree with using key words: YOUR APPOINTMENT IS SET, YOU ARE CONFIRMED, TEXT ME AT 30 MINUTES BEFORE YOU LEAVE, ETC. But like you said in your last sentence, theres still some bullshit ass people out here who just don't give a fuck and will go thru all the checkpoints, and still flake.

@Mocha, I really encourage you to step outside your own viewpoint and see many of the quandaries you post from your client’s perspective. Really pay attention to what @down_to_business said. In many cities, location matters. This is not about you and your rules, but rather about the fact that you have time that you are willing to share with someone in return for the $$ they have in THEIR wallet...and it does nothing for you as long as they exercise free choice to keep it in THEIR wallet.

I’m going to paraphrase @Keith30309’s post to say:

if it wasn’t for clients you might really enjoy what you do

Are you at the point of needing to answer the basic question of whether your chosen vocation is what’s best for you? If not, might it be time to ponder really shaking things up with radical change and a new perspective to see if you can get more satisfaction out of it?

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”

    ~ Albert Einstein

Please, stop with the old washed out quotes. The 2000s definition of insanity is someone who goes and shoots up schools, churches, waffle houses, workplaces, hotels, and nightclubs and doesn't get the death penalty. Don't even use that word around me, in any way or form.

Like I said above, I know it's important to be in a convenient area for clients. You goddamn right it's not about me and my rules, but here's the catch: Not all clients will be coming from the same area. Downtown has been inconvenient for some, the suburbs have been inconvenient for others. Where is convenient? What defines convenient?

Think about airports: do you think when Denver built their new airport 30 miles outside of the city, that they were worried about being inconvenient? No. Traffic? No. Did they give a fuck about the flight attendants and airline workers having to drive across town and take 2 hours to get there? They built it there because there was no where else to build one. They couldn't build in the mountains, they couldn't tear down the old one and rebuild a new one there because it needed to be replaced with other things.

DC is a good example: I usually stay in NOVA or Maryland because I don't have time to be spending $60 a night on parking, to be convenient to clients in DC. I also don't have time to be getting up at 6:45 am to move/meter feed my car by 7 am either. I RARELY ever have to do that to get clients in DC. I may do it for 1 day, and 1 day only. And I've had clients who were close by and didn't mind visiting me. Sure it may be inconvenient for some in DC to come to me in NOVA or MD, but guess what? That's why I go with a car. So I can visit the guys who can HOST (that magic word, host) in DC, that way I don't have to pay a premium just to be in the city. But if they can't host, and they can't come to NOVA or MD, then how is anything supposed to happen?

Do you think I would purposely be staying out the way, to be unreachable to clients? No. It's all about what makes sense.

  20. These are the 2 phrases that are becoming far too common, yet have very little reliability behind them.

Generally I advertise my travel locations ahead of time, but I generally don’t have a line of hotels already booked before I arrive because let’s face it: shit comes up, dates change/clients can’t make it and then it doesn’t look make sense to go.

What gets me are when guys contact when i put my ad in a city, and they ask “where you going to be staying” before I even get there. I tell them all the time, I’ve not yet confirmed hotel location, it will be given shortly before my arrival by X time of day. Even if I did a hotel lined up, how safe is it on my end, to be giving out which hotel I’m at before I even get settled in.

The problem is, when I don’t give them hotel info: sometimes I get the whole, “well we didn’t make an appointment” when I would follow up to confirm, and they flake or say something come up and I ask for a cancellation fee. One guy tried to use the excuse, “well I didn’t know what hotel you’d be at” as a way of saying we didn’t make an appointment, even though I made it clear I would be following up the very next day to confirm, which I did at 9 am...and he says something came up.

Frankly at this point I’m so so sick of hotels and sick of guys asking where I’m staying when they hit me up. I’m about to announce “I DON’T HOST”, but it seems the majority of clients want us to host, but the problem is it often gives them too much room to back out, and most guys asking to come to me, aren’t as reliable as the clients who can host.

On top of that, when I do host and tell them the hotel location, half of them exclaim, “that’s too far for me” or “I can’t get out there, it’s too far, thought you’d be staying downtown”

Has anyone seen the rates for hotels this summer? It’s ridiculous. Too expensive. Every city I’ve been to, and weekends get worse. Most hotels get sold out days ahead of getting there. It’s always some kind of event or conference or something going on, and clients don’t understand that stresses our options for hotels. I just want to travel city to city and meet guys who can host, and simply get an affordable hotel anywhere in town. If someone happens to be able to come to me great, but I’m getting tired of NEEDING to host, and needing to host in places that are convenient to clients.

    Solutions?

  21. Don’t discourage him @Mocha, everyone’s experience is individual and there are flakes on every portal. Let him navigate the various websites available and find what works best for him.

Yeah that’s true, I just got a surge of irritation today from it. I really think all the Craigslist/backpage “erotic therapy” guys have moved to RentMasseur. Nothing wrong with that, but before one could brace yourself, now it’s just cohesive with the main sites.

It’s almost like one has to create a different persona to succeed in the RentMasseur market. Perhaps like a secondary brand. Rentmen is Nordstrom, RentMasseur is Nordstrom Rack lol.

Rentmen is the Audi Q7, RentMasseur is the Volkswagen Tiguan lol. That’s not being pretentious, because I’m on rentmen and I couldn’t afford an Audi Q7, but I think it’s just what Rentmen franchise created. I personally got away from the double personas because these guys look at different sites anyway. However, desperate times call for desperate measures.

  22. I ask this mainly because I've been horny as he'll all week and no amount of porn and personal time is doing the trick. Escorts ever thought of offering a quickie rate for times like this? I just want to suck you off or until I cum. In and out 30 mins tops.

    I actually don’t mind...

I’ve offered 120 suck off sessions before to guys who really aren’t into getting full serviced, and simply just want to come by and suck a dick for a few minutes. I don’t really feel it warrants my full 250 session. A couple of them ended up becoming long time regulars, coming about once every 2-4 weeks.

I really wish rates here were more European modeled like @keroscenefire stated. Over there, they do 15 and 30 minute sessions. I do it because it helps people get in the door, versus committing to a larger session.

I have a regular client who started out wanting just a 150 massage, but after a couple of meets, he was offering me 1,000. So I don’t mind doing it...but I prefer to agree to it, versus being “talked” into it. Like the guy I mentioned who said he’d give me 60 to suck me off. I probably would have did it considering I was bored and horny and there was nobody booking over 4th of July Thursday, except he bullshitted me for 2 days...and at that point I was beyond annoyed.

  23. And then...I just went thru my RentMasseur and noticed about 6 people have emailed me (with no picture profile or from an external email) this week...asking for appointments today or the next day, and not even contacting me thru phone.

Seems I have to make it clear that I don’t conduct business or set up sessions thru their email system. I don’t know why people think I have time to sit and sift thru each of their emails, wait for them to respond, to back and forth only for them to cancel when the actual time comes to meet.
