I love puzzles and anything requiring concentration and problem solving. Since the lockdown March 2020, I’ve done a lot of complex paper folding and knot tying - learned from books, but more recently YouTube videos. I started the new hobby of knot tying last year during the pandemic when I was a slightly bored and looking to keep my fingers/ mind busy. It requires a lot of visualization and dexterity. I also started playing old piano competition pieces and working on a Schubert piano (Fantasie in F minor) duet with my good friend. I’d love to learn wood working and the japanese art of kumiko- using little jigs to assemble a lattice. Alas, i do not have the space for such a hobby… perhaps in the future.

I just preordered the iphone 13. Hated to do it, but the battery of my SE (second generation) has been draining consistently the past few months and most recently after the OS upgrade. I’ve also had the battery replaced a few years ago. The technician told me that the battery is still good at 90% and everything I‘ve done to optimize battery life is in place, however, the new OS requires more power… not sure I get it… but it sounds like planned obsolescence to me. Regardless, I‘ve had my trusty SE for a number of years when the version 6 came out so i guess it‘s ok to upgrade. I picked the smallest size 5.4“ as i don‘t think my pants can fit the larger 6.1 or 6.7 inch phones. Now i have to buy all the new cases and gadgets for the new phone.

Agree with Shawn Monroe. We, clients, have anonymity and can say something that may not always be appropriate.
