In general, most people prefer bookings that are not last minute. So you can hire them earlier to arrive later if you like and follow up/confirm while you're getting in the mood. Also providers likely don't want to travel for someone who's drunk and may pass out by the time they arrive.

One of my regulars actually IS a cop, though he technically operates in a different city. It's not cops that providers are concerned with, but entrapment and some questions and approaches are definitely hinting at that. So have some discretion and decorum in communication.

I've never been stiffed, but I think every provide has been ghosted at some point or another. This can be scheduling an appointment and not showing up or giving a false address for outcalls and then blocking the providers number or failing to respond. This is one reason providers are increasingly requiring deposits

I don't accept Zelle, but I do all other forms, like CashApp, Venmo and all credit cards including Apple and Android Pay ... and of course cash. My Zelle is connected to my personal account and I like all business to route through my business account.

If I'm on vacation there's a good chance I'll take up to days to respond or even check messages. I have a scheduling portal that shows my availability. So I also sometimes won't respond to clients who frequently ask "Are available at -insert the one hour of the day I'm not available-". After they've checked the site and know very well that I'm not. If they are reading this, they know very specifically I'm pointing at them. 🫵🏽 Messages that ask readily available information, are vague or require a longer answer (ie. what do you offer? 🙄) or are nearing casual conversation territory get the lowest priority. In general, I say request information you don't already have. If you want specific clarification, please ask for that. Give it a few hours and try again and/or move on.
