Grow up. These are people. And they operate in a difficult environment, with legal and health risks. The strident nature of your comment suggests a severe lack of empathy, a sense of entitlement when "hiring", and a sense that because you're hiring, the escort is contracted to do your bidding regardless of his health or his concerns. Fairly ugly I'd say. But your other posts don't display this sort of disregard for the escorts, so I'll cut you some slack, while disagreeing strenuously with this one post.

Couldn't disagree more. The "pendulum", if there is one, on this site is all the way on the client side. Escorts get no slack for cancelling (because the client was "counting" on being serviced; escorts are judged on the authenticity of their photos and their "honesty"; there's a strict "I don't pay in advance of service" "rule"; if an escort states a preference for the type of client he prefers, he's excoriated for being racist or ageist or a body fascist.
 
Let's face it: escorts are human beings, and they are in a business fraught with legal and health risks. They often have to spend a good deal of time dealing with potential but not eventual clients testing them out through texts, calls, skype, etc. All of this may seem reasonable from the perspective of us clients, but not so much from the other side. And, at least on this site, there seem to be rules set in stone that protect the client but not so much the escort.
 
So, I'll conclude this post by restating, the people who escort are just as human as the people who hire.

What difference does his genuine reason, or the conveyed excuse, make?
 
Clients cancel on escorts all the time.
 
We live in times where people cancel for all sorts of reasons. New hires accept job offers then never show. Service providers and contractors dont appear as agreed.
 
Im personally dealing with a situation - today -where an acquaintance agreed to attend an event requiring ticket purchase, then canceled day before due to work emergency. Except, a few hours later, sent an email confessing work emergency was fabricated, and just not in the mood, but didnt want to lie.
 
Societal norms and expectations evolve. Commitment, or even the obligation to inform or reply, have changed.
 
Just move on.

I had an apppointment with Oliver a few weeks ago, I had to cancel. But he was communicative and responsive to my emails and seemed very willing to meet. Agree he is probably just trying to protect himself - who can blame him?
