Is it any wonder why some escorts are requesting deposits? You have a confirmed appointment and still feel free to cancel. I'm sure that happens a lot. How many times have we all read a post from someone saying he's confirmed for a session but wants more information to be sure if he should go through with it. The time for second guessing is before you confirm. On the other hand, if an escort cancels after a session has been confirmed, he's lambasted as a flake, time waster, etc. It cuts both ways.
-
It is most likely a networking/business tactic on his part.
-
I've read the same Tumblr posts from him. I don't see him as saying he'll like you "more" if you pay the deposit. Instead, he's saying that settling the payment removes tension. I try to approach escorts with an open mind and to understand that they have, on occasion, been burned. I also find it distasteful when clients suggest that holding payment over the escorts head is the way to ensure a good session. Same for clients who, in the past according to older posts, used to hold the potential for a positive or negative review over the escorts head. My approach is to work out the terms if they are acceptable to me and the escort and go from there.
-
And confusing. Your first negative post about him was that the pix are "heavily edited" suggesting he's the guy in the pics, but that the pics have been enhanced in some unspecified way. Your next posts are that he's not the guy in the pix. Now, we have conflicting accounts from different posters. It's not your fault or that of the posters whose accounts differ from yours, but you're all relatively new on the boards and don't have a track record here. It's hard for me to assess your judgment or credibility. If the escort is willing, as another poster said, to chat on facetime, I'd suggest any interested client consider that as a means of sorting out the conflicting statements.

This makes no sense. If you're dealing with someone who "won't leave" if you call him on not being the person in his advertising photos when he is physically in front of you, do you suppose that same person will fess up before hand? Or that he'll somehow become the person in the photos for the promise that you'll pay more than you usually pay if he's who he claims to be? What do you realistically expect to happen as a result of saying, in effect, "I don't like to pay as much as you want, but I'll make an exception if you are exactly as you appear in the ad and you do everything I want they way I want it done"? Not only is this unlikely to discourage the guy who's using fake pics, it's likely to turn off the guys who are not. You're not going to root out the scammers with the approach you've outlined. You're only going to insult the escorts who are who they present in their ads. More to the point, you asked for feedback about an approach. You got that feedback. Learn from it.

I'm glad you said that, Ben. It was my reaction as well.

If you sell the property at some point, the money you spend on the retaining wall will be a capital improvement and reduce any capital gain from the increase in value of the property so as to reduce the cap gains tax. Also, if you finance the work via a home equity loan or mortgage, the interest payments on the mortgage will be deductible from your income tax. Sounds like a great property. Congratulations!
-
Is that how it works in CA? In my experience, the "assessed" value on which property taxes are based isn't the same as the fair value for which the property sells (or at least it diverges soon after a sale has occurred).
-
If you end up with the property, you will likely have more of a presence from the men/people who fix you're retaining wall problem than with guests/friends, at least for a period of time. Didn't Marcus Iron do landscaping projects in the San Fran area? Perhaps you could get him! As far as the costs of repairing the retaining wall, the point of an inspection is to provide you with the opportunity to walk away and/or renegotiate if there are hidden costs/repairs. If you have the money and it's worth it to you to pay the costs of the repairs on top of the purchase price, your simply waive the right to walk away and complete the purchase. If you can't or choose not to do so, you can try to negotiate either having the repairs precede the purchase or a reduction in purchase price to offset those costs. My guess is that the seller's will say the need for the repairs is already factored into the sale price.

LOL. It's a stock technique among a few photographers who specialize in these sort of photos/guys. The similarity is the photographer's doing, not the models' use of photoshop.

"Position: Top".

You raise an interesting point in mentioning the bank. There's also the FHA. If you are getting a mortgage, both the bank and it's insurer will want the property value to be greater than the mortgage loan. Expensive repairs, particularly if not completed, could be a roadblock to mortgage approval.
-
If it is covered by the seller's homeowner's insurance (doubtful, but you don't know until you ask), you can defer the closing until repairs are completed and pass inspection. I'm assuming this is a single-family home that is not part of a condominium or homeowner's association. If there's a condo board or a home owner's association, responsibility for maintaining the retaining wall may fall on the association, depending on the local laws and the bylaws of the ownership association.

This forum is associated with a Review site. That site -- Daddy's Reviews -- is where sponsors place ads that fund both the Review site and these forums. For reasons associated with the laws adopted to clamp down on sex trafficking, the forums and reviews were turned into separate platforms. All that is to say that reviews are not allowed on the forums because they belong on the Review site. Please review there.

They show up, avail themselves of his time and services, then don't pay. When he tries to contact them at the number they used to contact him, it's no longer working.

As he explains it, porn has allowed him to focus on taking care of his body and health and to support himself financially, as well as enabling him to travel and to live in places where being gay is less difficult.

"Clients" aren't a block of people who all think the same. Austin had a negative rep because he posted the names of clients who scammed him on a site that other escorts used. Other escorts share similar warnings about scamming clients, but Austin went further and identified the clients by name and location. I wouldn't hire someone who does that, but I also wouldn't be overly concerned about being so listed as I wouldn't scam an escort. As a practical matter, given where the names were posted, what Austin did was help other escorts avoid scamming clients. No doubt there are still plenty of people who who hire Austin for escort services if he were available and affordable, and if he performed as they requested.

Sodomy as a criminal offense is/has often(been) defined to include certain non-procreative sex acts regardless of who is involved. Thus, anal sex between a husband and wife was considered sodomy.

I couldn't agree more!

Quite apart from it's impact on escorts and clients, the virus has dramatically affected all aspects of daily life and that is not because people are instinctively alarmist or swayed by sensationalist news coverage. I count quite a few medical professionals among my close relatives and they all say this isn't hype, it's real, and if anything we have under-reacted. I also have family who are rabidly pro-Trump. While they routinely complain that the news coverage is unfair to Trump and that he has been hampered in dealing with the crisis by unspecified forces, they wear masks, social distance, avoid crowds, etc. That is, where their own health is concerned, they treat the virus as a series matter no matter what they say about it as a matter of politics and policy. No one has forced them to isolate -- they've done so because that is the prudent course.

Not much more to add. I liked him and would see him again.

The blog site with the mugshots shows a younger Cade and doesn't list the dates of the shots. He's commented in interviews, saying that getting into porn has helped him turn his life around. You said the arrests were "recent" -- do you have some additional information bearing on when they occurred?
-
I've seen him. He's hot, sweet personality, great build, nicely hung and a lot of fun. He's from Colombia, but his English is exceptional. Whether his fees are worth it is not my call. But he is as he appears in his ad.
-
Recent? I had the impression they were from before he became big in porn.
