Just watched this documentary on Netflix in honor of Pride. What starts as an interesting retrospective turns into a parade of silly performers who are not part of my community or lived experience. Any documentary that would include a comic who thinks the World Health Organization knows more about gender than Dave Chapelle has no business being in comedy. I know I'm old fashioned and probably filled with self-loathing, but if you are too, skip this one, it won't fill you with pride.

I won't try to make a joke because I'm not good at it, but it saddens me that so many gay men waste their time scolding each other for using the dark humor that helped us deal with so many horrible events in history. Jokes in poor taste shouldn't be met with finger wagging on a gay gossip site!

The #metoo movement brought some important things to the forefront of American thought. As with all things, the pendulum has swung too far and it's time to consider that #womenlietoo.

Are you "gay"? Are you "queer"? What the hell are you?!
Manhattan replied to + Charlie's topic in The Lounge
That's the point of free speech, it protects speech we hate as well as speech we love. Most of society used to think that homosexuality represented the underbelly of human nature. Fortunately, some people defended us. -

I don't think we should tell anyone what words to use or what thoughts to think. I have the right to love, fuck, and marry my partner and others have the right to judge, hate, and insult me. Freedom is for everyone, but it's not easy or polite. -
I don't want to sound like I don't get the humor. I do, but remember - The rainbow is a spectrum of visible light. There may be divisions at first glance, but they blend into each other to create one perfect sign of joy and hope after a storm. That's why it's so sad to mess with it.

I didn't say you were wrong. I just said what I think. And you get to say what you think. We don't have to agree. It's healthy when people have different opinions!

She gets paid to be on camera and have people look at her. I pay a tiny part of that through my subscription. Since she's not an actor, she could at least be pretty. I like to see attractive and talented people on TV. Some call it petty. I call it discerning.

So far there are no credible charges against Armie. He may be on the kinky side, but as usual, women wanted to be with a famous guy and would put up with sketchy behavior in pursuit of celebrity. They didn't get what they wanted, so now they are mad. Not at themselves for being naive, narcissistic, and greedy. But at him for being who he said he was.

The "progress" Pride design is sadly obvious, using new colors in an arrow to divide the rainbow. I support equal rights for all, but PRIDE is for those of us who are same-sex attracted. White, black, and brown don't exist in a rainbow. Something beyond our skin color unites us. This month I will wear my old-fashioned Pride t-shirts and celebrate the gay men, lesbians, and bisexuals (some of whom cross-dressed) who fought for our rights.

I posted this in 411 on 27 Mens, but it bears repeating. If it's true (and I'll bet it is) that $20/hr is the high end rate at NYC mens spas, then $20 should be the baseline tip for a massage with zero extras. Any service beyond that should be generously acknowledged. You cheapskates out there are ruining it for everyone when you get great service and don't tip accordingly. If masseurs expect to get shitty tips, they are forced to negotiate. Lead the way, be a gentleman, and tip well. The next customer will reap the benefit and one day that customer might be you!

I tried to like it, but Hannah Einbinder ruins it for me. Not funny, not talented, not attractive. Triple threat.

Hi Ben. I appreciate the fact that you check this forum and that you are so responsive to its members. You could settle a question that is frequently discussed on CoM. If I book 60 minutes for $70, how much of that goes to the masseur at your spas?

New spas are always welcome, but as has been discussed in this thread - your partner seems to open locations that compete with each other. For your own sake, get away from midtown and your competitors.

Cherish Mens Spa in Hicksville has the wonderful Lucas a few times per week and a couple of new guys as well. i recommend giving it a try. Options are limited on LI, but this place satisfies.

In this documentary on Max, we hear from ten men who detail their experiences with Kevin Spacey. What a surprise, Mr. Spacey hit on each of them! He pursued, flirted, and made physical advances. The men all assumed that he was taking a professional interest in them, despite the fact that none of them had noticeable training or talent. Thinking he could help advance their careers, they all try to finesse the situation without totally rejecting him. Well, it turns out that Mr. Spacey just wanted to sleep with them! Shocking! It's sad to see the narcissism of actors play out in all directions. Acting is a profession of privilege and no one does it because they can't get another job. In the end, these guys all got what they wanted from Mr. Spacey - a starring role in a Max series.

It's unusual to see a series that depicts various kinds of assault as the horrendous events they are and yet includes ways in which the victim is complicit. All of these people want something and all are willing to go to extreme lengths to try to get it. It kept me interested.

Has anyone experienced AsianLucasBaby? He has a few mentions in other forums, but nothing about his endowment or position.

There were a couple of well proportioned men at 27Men a while ago. Thai August was always a nice surprise, as was Chinese Chris. in a spa setting, I don't expect much more that a massage, but I have been treated to a big package at eye level or a stiff appendage brushing against my hand.

Had to check it out after the buzz at Sundance. It managed to be gross, pretentious, and disappointing. See it if you're curious, but I have no idea why this film was made. Any different opinions?

Located in NYC.

Also posted this in the Deli. Any recommendations for asian masseurs who are well endowed? Could be an independent provider or a spa employee who impressed you.

Has anyone met any asian providers in NYC area on RentMasseur (or RentMen) who are very well endowed?
