  1. I'm sorry to find you all still swooning over two male "hockey players" who behave like women. Men with womanly hairless asses talking to each other like women imagine gay men talk. Gay sex depicted without having to see those aggressive, problematic penises. I've never heard or seen gay men relate to each other like these two - so much drama! And not the kind I like in film or television. Gay men - go on a date, get a massage, hire an escort. Have an actual experience with an actual man. Don't give money and attention to this dopey series.
  2. Do you have any idea how long ago that was? I can't remember. Was it more than 10 years ago?
  3. Anyone remember a really run down place in the basement on 22nd Street? It was just off Seventh Ave. A long time ago.
  4. There was also a men's spa on 8th street, just west of 6th Ave.
  5. Yes, I too met August at Babylon. He left and went out on his own for a while before he landed at 27. i remember the place on 57th Street! Up a tall flight of stairs.
  6. I walked by an old spa location today and started thinking about places that I visited pre-Covid. I can't remember most of their names, but I'm pretty sure they existed. Any Men's spa historians out there? There were two Yu Ping locations (6th and 14th, 6th and 29th). Babylon on 6th and 39th. A tiny place on 25th off 6th? Maybe it was called Moon Boy? There were two places on one block on Lex around 28th? A place just off Park Ave, maybe on 38th? I think I remember a spa on Allen St. but a couple of blocks farther south than Yeah Man
  7. That's true. So do a lot of masseurs. @lienahtan might even get a private message from his missing masseur. He might be out there somewhere!
  8. I agree with others about Google translate. At many spas, the masseurs share the responsibility of answering the phone and text messages. It's not unusual to get a surprise text from a masseur providing their own number and inviting you to book with them directly in the future. If this doesn't happen after a couple of sessions, ask if you can give them your number in case they move to a different spa. Always in the room - not at reception.
  9. I assume you are referring to writing a post.
  10. I have not criticized any member. - only the show. Why do you feel the need to criticize me personally? I'm not allowed to post?
  11. I don't believe that human beings have souls, so enjoying it that way is not a possibility. All I have is a brain, eyes, and ears to evaluate what I'm watching. What is see and hear is lazy storytelling, bad acting, and predictable writing. Gay men used to be known for their excellent taste in fashion and culture. The popularity of shows like this let me know that we are losing our edge. I'll keep speaking the truth regardless of what I'm supposed to think.
  12. Rhea Seehorn is wonderful. I think the show deliberately makes the audience find Carol unlikable in the beginning. We need to wonder if such a cranky representation of humanity is really worth all the fuss. By episode four, Carol is being revealed as a more complicated person, not just in reaction to THEM.
  13. Quality is objective. McDonalds serves low quality meals by every measure, but it's still very popular. People can enjoy McDonalds, but I hope they don't think it's good. Viewers may enjoy Heated Rivalry, but I hope they allow themselves to realize it's also low quality fare.
  14. I support people making and watching whatever content they want, but something being popular does not make it good. A friend recommended it and asked that I watch at least four episodes. The acting from the two leads is embarrassingly bad. The writing is incredibly stupid. The sex scenes are hardly revolutionary. It reminds me of Showtime after dark. Softcore for a female audience. Boring. My friend has no taste.
  15. Thank goodness. I thought I was missing out on something new!!
  16. I'm happy to be weird. The holiday season is a great time of year to celebrate weirdness, embrace disagreement, tolerate judgement, and practice not taking things too seriously. Thank you CompanyofMen for providing space for all that!
  17. Yes, you are weird because you don't like to rim. You are also weird because you feel the need to create a post about your insecurity. And I'm weird because I feel compelled to write a response. If you are concerned about the rimming thing, force yourself to do it and learn to love it. Otherwise, who cares? You're allowed to be weird.
  18. Can you define the term dry sensual? i've had good experiences with Jay at Batman, but I always feel like I'm being basted in oil and his perspiration. Very wet sensual to me.
  19. I'd add Kenny at TSMS, he's hot and fun. Also Alvin at Energy, less handsome but still pretty hot with a great body. Neither of these guys are twinks.
  20. Something really went wrong with all three actors who played the kids. It was very sad about the twin who killed himself, and the two survivors seem developmentally delayed or something. Uncomfortable to watch. Also, Monica Horan joins the pantheon of actors who ruined sitcoms. Fortunate to be married to the producer, she was awful.
  21. I saw Little Bear Ridge Road and Laurie Metcalf was magnificent. The writing was good, but the guy who played her brother was terrible. I don't know why they kept him. Almost ruined the experience for me.
  22. W Man Spa must be one of the longest operating men's spas in the city. Maybe Yeah Man Spa has been around longer? Andy is very popular and for good reason. He also seems to manage the place and handle most of the bookings. He gives a great massage and if you're a regular customer, he'll bend over backwards to please you. He may even bend over forwards if he likes you. I always enjoy our sessions. He's a super nice, hot guy who takes fewer clients lately. And who can blame him? He's been doing it a while.
  23. Time for a test drive.
  24. The following was posted on Oct 22. It comes up on the first page if you search "Jay Batman" I've seen Jay at Batman several times. He gives a very reliable strong massage. He seems to really enjoy his work. He will talk to you and is pretty funny. Each one hour massage has been completely relaxing and fun. He has a very nice build and a decent face. He seems to like dyeing his hair orange or blond on occasion. No upselling or talk of tips. Highly recommended.
  25. Hi PollyBoston. The fastest strategy is to use the search feature. Or you can just read through the posts. Members have shared tons of useful information.
