  1. I'm happy to be weird. The holiday season is a great time of year to celebrate weirdness, embrace disagreement, tolerate judgement, and practice not taking things too seriously. Thank you CompanyofMen for providing space for all that!
  2. Yes, you are weird because you don't like to rim. You are also weird because you feel the need to create a post about your insecurity. And I'm weird because I feel compelled to write a response. If you are concerned about the rimming thing, force yourself to do it and learn to love it. Otherwise, who cares? You're allowed to be weird.
  3. Can you define the term dry sensual? i've had good experiences with Jay at Batman, but I always feel like I'm being basted in oil and his perspiration. Very wet sensual to me.
  4. I'd add Kenny at TSMS, he's hot and fun. Also Alvin at Energy, less handsome but still pretty hot with a great body. Neither of these guys are twinks.
  5. Something really went wrong with all three actors who played the kids. It was very sad about the twin who killed himself, and the two survivors seem developmentally delayed or something. Uncomfortable to watch. Also, Monica Horan joins the pantheon of actors who ruined sitcoms. Fortunate to be married to the producer, she was awful.
  6. I saw Little Bear Ridge Road and Laurie Metcalf was magnificent. The writing was good, but the guy who played her brother was terrible. I don't know why they kept him. Almost ruined the experience for me.
  7. W Man Spa must be one of the longest operating men's spas in the city. Maybe Yeah Man Spa has been around longer? Andy is very popular and for good reason. He also seems to manage the place and handle most of the bookings. He gives a great massage and if you're a regular customer, he'll bend over backwards to please you. He may even bend over forwards if he likes you. I always enjoy our sessions. He's a super nice, hot guy who takes fewer clients lately. And who can blame him? He's been doing it a while.
  8. Time for a test drive.
  9. The following was posted on Oct 22. It comes up on the first page if you search "Jay Batman" I've seen Jay at Batman several times. He gives a very reliable strong massage. He seems to really enjoy his work. He will talk to you and is pretty funny. Each one hour massage has been completely relaxing and fun. He has a very nice build and a decent face. He seems to like dyeing his hair orange or blond on occasion. No upselling or talk of tips. Highly recommended.
  10. Hi PollyBoston. The fastest strategy is to use the search feature. Or you can just read through the posts. Members have shared tons of useful information.
  11. I was disappointed with Owen's massage and service. Not terrible, but not on par with Jay. If anyone has had a good experience with Owen, please DM me.
  12. You can't go wrong with Jay. I wonder if this is the same Owen who has worked at Energy and 28th?
  13. Maybe part of the confusion is that you posted your services on rentmen instead of rentmasseur.
  14. It's interesting that people with so few posts always have providers falling for them. Maybe they are legitimate concerns or maybe just a form of fan fiction. Either way, it's fun to weigh in. You are in control of this situation. Pay him and enjoy the noncommittal attention or take a risk and ask him if he would be open to exploring a relationship. Masseurs know the risks and rewards of making clients feel special - you won't offend him either way. Since none of us know you or the provider, you'll have to figure out how to read the signals and communicate just like you would with any other human being.
  15. A male massage provider is called a masseur not a masseuse When they are with you they are at work. Sometimes they enjoy their work, sometimes they don't - but if your provider is good you won't be able to tell the difference. If you are polite, clean, and considerate, you are making their job easier. Feel good about that.
  16. Enjoyed it until episode four, then it got too sappy. I get that it's based on a true story, but do all gay men have to be depicted as so emotionally needy and fucked up? No wonder we shouldn't be Marines. And all the gay men are played by gay actors? A stupid gimmick. Are all the straight men played by straight actors? Are we now required to reveal our sexuality when applying for a job? I look forward to AI destroying what's left of the idiotic film and television industry.
  17. Many of us can live in the present and still remember the recent past. It's a very helpful skill that provides context for life and helps you make decisions. Those of us who knew Ben can remember him and give him credit for making 27 a really well run spa. It's reasonable to comment on the fact that customer service has declined since Ben's untimely death. Why would anyone feel the need to register a snaky remark in this scenario?.
  18. Kenny started at TSMS, moved to Paris Men's Spa, then to Energy for a couple of weeks. Now he is back at TSMS. Good looking with a nice body. His english isn't great, but he is a sweet and easy going guy. Solid massage technique and he wants his customers to leave satisfied. No talk of tips.
  19. If you have a good rapport, ask him if he'd like to hang out sometime and get lunch. Make it clear that you enjoy his company and are not looking for off the clock massage. I've become good friends with a couple of masseurs over the years. I no longer see them for massage, and no money is involved. We just like each other. People make friends under all kinds of circumstances. If he isn't interested, fair enough. At least you'll know that he just wants to work for you. That's fine too. There are many elements to good customer service. But if you choose to remain a customer, you should tell him what adjustments he needs to make to his massage more satisfying to you.
  20. Who is the owner of 27 now? I haven't been there since Ben passed. He and Richard ran it really well.
  21. Ben and Richard were partners in 27 and HK. I don't know what's happened since Ben's untimely death, but I haven't heard that Richard sold his interest.
  22. W Man is Richard. Not sure about the others.
  23. I forgot about Why Not and Epic. I have no idea who owns them - never been to either one I've been told that Richard used to be a masseur, but more than a decade ago.
  24. Fair enough. Any corrections or different information would be welcome.
  25. From getting to know guys who work at the spas over the years.
