Location:  Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco and Nuevo Nayarit, Nayarit, Mexico
Event: U.S. Consulate General Guadalajara has confirmed several reports of U.S. citizens being kidnapped by individuals the victims met on dating apps in recent months in the Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Nayarit areas.  Victims and their family members in the United States have at times been extorted for large sums of money to secure their release.  Please be aware that this type of violence is not limited to one geographic area.  Travelers should use caution when meeting strangers; meet only in public places and avoid isolated locations, such as residences or hotel rooms, where crimes are most likely to occur.
The U.S. Consulate General reminds U.S. citizens that in the State Department’s travel advisory for Mexico , Jalisco is classified as “Level 3:  Reconsider Travel” due to crime and kidnapping, and Nayarit is classified as “Level 2:  Exercise Increased Caution” due to crime.  If faced with immediate security threats, please contact local police by dialing “911” on any telephone.  U.S. citizens in need of emergency consular services should contact their nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
 
There are a few news reports from spanish televison on these incidents. Although the news did not specify which app, I presume it was grindr as two of the named suspects and the victim were male. In an interview regarding the incidents, the governor of Jalisco intimated the tourists were seeking escorts for hire on the app. 
I'm always curious about the details of such events. I tend to assume there were red flags that a wary traveler would have picked up on.

Just visited Wet Dreamz and learned a new scam.
Stripper grabs me as I walk in and asks if I want to do a private, I can fuck him. He was cute so I asked how much. He said “600 for the room and 400 for the sex” I said that 400 pesos ($20) is really cheap. He said its late and he wants to make some money at the end of the night. I said OK.
When it was over, I felt generous and gave him 1,000 pesos (about $50). He said “no, $400 USD.” I reminded him of our conversation and said I can talk to the manager to straighten it out. He accepted the money and we went our separate ways.
 I’ve always advocated for Wet Dreamz despite its reputation here. Not any more. Avoid it.
No one had ever quoted me USD for anything anywhere ever in PV. You don’t expect it, it’s an easy miss, and a younger me would be way too timid to have said anything. Be careful, guys, and please share this.

Anthropology - not sure how they stay in business.  they are so far over and really don't have any good guys.  The past several trips I did go to check it out and it was like I was waking them up by coming in.  Was only a handful of other customers.  Used to be amazing back in the day.  Big private rooms upstairs.  No cover. Cash only bar and entertainers, anything goes. 
Wet - Love the redesign - Shower behind the bar looks awesome.  good amount of entertainers each night prob 15. Stays open late till like 3am or 4am depending on the crowd.  No cover.  Cash only for most bar or entertainers.  The bar does take cards if you pay a certain amount of buy bottle service - just not for a few drinks.  Back room 500 pesos and were large with benches.  Entertainers anything goes 1500 pesos.  They do do shows in the open in the shower behind the bar nude and on a pole in the back of the and will come pester for tips weather you watched the show or not which is annoying.  
Club 69 - Fun club.  No cover charge.  Cash only bar and entertainers.  2 levels which is cool.  Private rooms downstairs 500 pesos with padded bench and large mirror. Entertainers were 1500-2000 pesos for anything goes.  They are aggressive on their public shows and demanding tips.  half the guys are fun, half are asleep on uninterested and on their phones.  the manager gets on the PA and tells people to either tip or leave which kinda annoyed me.
B-Mine (formerly Pervert) - wow nice space.  Completely gutted the old Pervert club and renovated it.  Upon entry as you go up to the second level, if you look up you walk under a shower with a plexiglass floor and can see the guys showering above you (if someone's in there).  Club has 2 poles and multiple backrooms.  No cover charge and they *do* accept credit cards for both the bar and backroom/entertainers.  Backrooms are the nicest and there is also a suite in the basement with a hot tub and bed. Only a handful of guys, two of which were hot and did offer pretty reasonable private show fees.  
Casa Capula - Has full nude pool parties and reg pool parties.  Both feature go-go dancers who offer extra services in a side area
Tijuana
Premier Mens Club - Fun club.  Went two nights back to back.  One for their Mens Only night and one for regular night.  Mens only was cool but I felt like there was less dancers.  They do have more m4m shows with full action, and some audience interactions.  I felt the non-mens only night/regular night was better.  There was a lot more dancers and better vibe.  Probably 20 or so dancers on a long catwalk with poles at each end.  music is loud and the same beat all night.  Drag shows at like 2am.  They still open till 5 or 6am.  Mixture of seats along side the stage as well as high top tables and booths.  There is a dark room for guests and private room in the club as well.  If at any point you want to talk to the dancer or want an open floor lap dance, either signal the entertainer or tell a waiter who will get them for you. They dance and grind on you for few minutes as long your tipping.  USD is welcome here as well as Mexican Pesos. 
Private was $500 pesos for the room and varies what for the entertainer.  Private room is behind the main bar and you have to be buzzed in.  two rooms with curtain booths that have a chair and mirror.  Had some fun back there.  Club seems to be cash only.  There is a cover charge of 100 pesos. ATM is down the street at the casino or in one of the gad stations.  Be careful as Tijuana is a major strip club city for straight guys and police are known to shake people down regularly.  Uber between the border and the club and back.  It's literally 5 minutes each way but worth it.  Club has always been safe.  There is a bath house above it by the same owner with rooms to rent and hotel next door that the entertainers recommend for more in-depth shows with rooms for $40 usd.  
Mr. TJ Mens Spa / Only Boys Spa - New Mens Massage Studio for gay men. Has 12-15 masseurs working offering various massage. Sports, tantric and more.  Tantric both parties are nude and was 1400 pesos. Well run, clean and professional. Takes cards.  Had Jean-Carlos who was amazing.
 

I happened to pop by last night.  Business as usual.  
As a side note...  if you park there, don't park behind the building to the side of the club or block doors, etc.  The owners are starting to have cars towed.  There is a sign suggesting to park along 13th St instead.  

It basically allows you to skip paying the house fee to do a private dance for the year. You still pay the dancer per song, but no separate fee to go back during the period. 

I was at LeBoy in Fort Lauderdale twice this week.  There were a LOT of dancers on Friday.  It was probably 1 to 1 ratio of dancers to patrons.
While there was  plenty of twinks as usual, there were a few more men that could qualify to dance at Johnson's.  One boy told me it is because there is new management.  This boy told me he previously danced at Johnson's; but, he prefers working at LeBoy because LeBoy does not charge its dancers to dance.
I had fun and had a private dance with Jesus who was great; but, then I left around midnight and went to Johnson's for the remainder of my evening.

I had a positive experience in Bogota using mileroticos.com.  I am intermediate to advanced in Spanish (non-white tourist of South Asian descent). My advice is to only meet the guys in your hotel for safety. The sex worker will most likely have to register at the reception and it's best not to hide things from hotel staff.   Sometimes you get charged a fee for a "companion" however it is definitely worth the security. Lock your passport and valuables in the hotel safe. I found gorgeous male providers who are super affordable ($50 usd to $80 usd), and affectionate with 5-star service that definitely go "above and beyond" compared to providers in the States. 

I saw Gael today and it was a fun hour spent.  His prices are very reasonable (listed $150US/hr or $500US/overnight on his Hunqz profile).
Gael has a large dick. I checked out B Mine last night for my first time.   The layout looks comfy.  But, alas, a small group of women customers made their presence known with high pitched screeches and therefore the male clientele left quickly.  I let the doorman know on the way out that I wish them success, but I'm not going to stay and relax with shrieking women in a men-only club.

I'm in Puerto Vallarta right now, and my previous description of dancers at each club no longer applies.  Both 69 and WetDreams have gorgeous muscle hunks, and not a Twink in site at either establishment.  This may change when busy season starts the week of Thanksgiving.
One thing does remain the same: the dancers at WetDreams are extremely aggressive, interrupting customers already involved with another dancer to ask them for tips.  I keep going to WetDreams for the sexy shower 🚿 setup, but enjoy 69 more for the atmosphere and customer service (waiters bring your drink to your seat, dancers respect when you're already talking with another dancer, dancers offer to wipe their cum off your lips, etc.)

...So I spent a week in PV. Didn't actually do much in the way of hiring; I ended up being pretty consumed with being a tourist lol. It was my first time there.
I did make a trip to 69 on a Saturday night. The guys were very attractive, but not quite my type. They were all very muscular. If that's your type, then this place is great. I did find a grand total of 2 average build twink-ish guys, took one to private.

Sounds like Tropicus could be an option. Front desk really doesn't care. Late hours will have the doors locked and you need to show your key or declare your room number, and that's about it. No one is registering ID's or anything. It's literally in the middle of all the action. I'd say it is comparable to Mercurio in terms of quality. It's not a roach motel by any means. Personally I've mostly gone for nicer places that may be a little further away and will register guests, so this is the only place I know of that fits your bill

I spent 3 weeks in Puerto Vallarta over Christmas and New Year's.  I had a massage every day.
Prices ranged from:
Low end (but not always guaranteed a Happy Ending): Advertised 700 pesos ($35 US) for 1 hour massage; I would give them 1000 pesos ($50 US) total including tip at the end of they have me a good massage and Happy Ending.  Happy endings varied from hand jobs, to oral, to fingering
Mid range: 600 pesos ($30 US) for 30 minute upper body or lower body massage in a chair on the gay beach.  Out in the open, so nothing sensual; but, damn it feels nice to have your muscles worked on while facing the ocean, having drinks delivered to you, and watching gorgeous men in speedos walk by!
High end, but guaranteed sex:  I would offer 1500-2000 pesos ($75-100 US) to massuers to come to my hotel room and give massage and bareback sex.  Did this several times with several great guys.  I usually wanted  2 hours and offered 3000-4000 pesos ($150-200 US) pesos for 2 hour massage and bareback penetration.
Very high end: Strippers and RentMen ask 4000 pesos ($200 US).  While they're nice to look at, in my experience the RentMen don't give a good massage, and the Strippers won't offer anal.  I do have a regular stripper who works at 69 who will come by my hotel room on his way to work, and let me give him a blowjob for 700 pesos ($35 US), but I won't book a full hour with him because I've tried it and he just doesn't do it for me.  He looks good, he gives great lap dances, but he's just not a massuer or escort.

Yes and it was extremely lame. I went to the first one and skipped the second because I just knew it wouldn't be worth it. The cover is $40 for US Citizens and the club got packed from wall to wall. It was impossible to get a drink or even walk around. The dancer to client ratio was 1:25 which made it extremely difficult to get a lap dance not to mention all of the seats and booths were either reserved in advance or in use so you had to settle for a "standing" lap dance. I went to one of the last Club Papis at Club Extasis back in 2018 and they were way better. I would just stick to their normal men-only nights, it's the same thing but less crowded and more fun.

Any experiences with him? I think hes a gogo dancer in the LA area.
