    Physicians like anti-convulsants because they’re opioid sparing, but I found gabapentin useless no matter how I took it (QD vs TID). It was extremely sedating, and I once passed out while on it. Ultimately, only a steroid injection worked.

    I’m thinking of you, @Smurof. I remember how much I suffered during my radiculopathy episode, which I described in this thread. This community was really supportive, so please continue to reach out.

    For straight couples, the entire wedding ritual is mainly for women. The engagement ring is a status symbol for women, but it’s a also a sort of down payment, a disincentive for men who might be tempted to skip out on the whole thing. Maybe I’m not very woke, but I don’t expect the role reversal to catch on.

    I’m really sorry to hear that, Smurof. My PT told me that she experienced the same thing after the second dose, but with neck/arm pain. I think it resolved. Would you consider seeing a pain doctor for a steroid injection? That worked for my neck.
