If you have no debt for several months, your score will go to ZERO. Why do you care? You obviously have the means to accomplish all your goals out of pocket.

FYI, I’m planning to be mortgage & debt free in retirement. I’ll have more discretionary money for my indiscretions!?

If there is enough of a difference in the bad way by all means walk. I would consider that false advert. And it sucks for the client getting your hopes up and wasting your time. Your time and money are worth something.

Retirement means not needing to worry so much about FICO.

Especially, as the FICO scoring model you see on most consumer websites is only one of 50.

    Yes... 50. Insane.

As @Pensant said, over 800 and you're getting prime rates anyway. Don't worry about the numbers.

I've done it both ways: left and stay/endured it. Before leaving, I've always paid something nominal like $20. I've always felt better about leaving after telling the truthful reason than staying and enduring it out of pity, desperation, or whatever. By the same token and off topic slightly, when I was about to sell my house in Dallas, I interviewed three top-producing sales agents from three top agencies. The second one to show up looked absolutely NOTHING like the picture on her Web site AND on her business card. I let her in anyway and within the first few minutes, she said, "This is certainly not MY style, but I can sell it." I said, "Ma'am, no you can't. You're not MY style because you cannot even accurately represent yourself. I can't imagine how you might lie in attempt to sell my house." Goodbye!

I think it's ok to leave before services have been rendered. You could perhaps give a small donation just for the time he spent perhaps responding to your texts or whatever. But yeah I think it's fair to just say, "Unfortunately you look a lot different than your pictures and I am no longer interested in getting a massage. Here is $20 for your time and sorry for any inconvenience."

He may be pretty annoyed at you, but I think it's fair. Photos can sometimes be a tricky thing because even recent ones could look a lot different than someone does in person. But I also think you can tell if photos are older when the guy was super in shape and he has since let himself go a bit. Personally, I would rather they just share more recent, accurate photos. Many guys still look pretty damn sexy even if they have stopped doing their daily crossfit.

I will say that I don’t tend to ask for age or ethnicity - I have clients of all races, and my clients range from their 20s to their late 80s. I don’t care.

But that being said, there are definitely consistencies in communication and you can tell with some level of certainty which clients will turn out to be time wasters as worst or hassles at the least. I will say that I try to give the benefit of the doubt, and I’m sometimes surprised, but a lot of the time you can tell.

Now in terms of your friend losing business - it’s possible yes, but taking every inquiry that you get is also Ill-advised. sometimes you must save your sanity. I remember once @Benjamin_Nicholas said “you can’t trip over nickels to pick up pennies” or something similar.

this sink type is not uncommon, but I've never had one quite like this......

first, the faucet in the picture is in that position so it can be rotated between either sink for use......as opposed to the faucet you have, you said, which you said is well to the right......

I do wonder why the disposal is in the small sink rather than the large one, as you said it is.....I would've guessed the small sink is primarily for washing vegetables/fruit and the large sink is for dish washing and, thus, would have the disposal.....

Why don't we support small business regardless of the race of the owner? Cause rn too many small businesses are struggling with the tyrannical policies due to the Chinese flu and now the awful riots.

I'd suggest people do a little more digging into their own history before joining a very public, persona-driven business.

Even Facebook has recently made deleting a chekered past a lot easier:

I did check, and it leads nowhere. I know they are screenshots. I didn't mean this as criticism of you/your post, but of the guy whose twitter post you posted. He's the one making statements and not supplying the source material.

I do not like this idea. A comment could be taken out of context, a Racist background could be fabricated by a personal enemy or competitor, and finally some people may have learning experiences, change their mind, regret their previous thoughts, and still be labeled as Racist when they are not one anymore.
I applaud your enthusiasm and initiative, though.
