You saved the best wisdom for the last line!! πππ

This Phillies Karen story is SO overblown and boring. A rude entitled woman. The kid got taken care of by the marlins and Phillies and is going to the World Series from the biz guy on tv Marcus Melinos. Happy ending. Society, lets please move on π

Excellent masseur ! Highly recommend him. Sweetest guy and awesome session. Saw him a while back.

Sounds like he needs an anger management course. How about just talk about sports, weather, Netflix, travel, diet and exercise, etc.

Providers: how old is too old to hire?

Itβs not about the age of the car, itβs whether the tank is full of high octane fuel β½οΈ π₯ππ -

When it comes to lists, brevity is a virtue. Less is definitely more !! ππ€ͺπ -
Vegas is a great product overall. Nothing quite like it. But I think Vegas is alienating some travelers with high resort fees and a lot of nickel diming on things in hotels. Bottles of water in your room for 25 bucks? π³π± Give me a break. Plus, most states have ample local casinos now which keep people closer to home and technology has made gaming and betting on devices and computes very easy now. These factors provide some headwinds for the Vegas casinos. π°

CBS will end 'The Late Show' with Stephen Colbert in 2026
Johnrom replied to Ali Gator's topic in TV and Streaming services
With all due respect, the market is driving it. The Fallon show is actually making a profit! Itβs well managed. So it gets extended. If the Colbert show has higher ratings but is losing money hand over fist, thatβs fiscal malpractice. You donβt throw good money after bad. Cheaper production, smaller staffs, etc are all part of the overall equation. -

Jimmy Fallon, the LEAST political of late night hosts, just got his contract extended until 2028. The market speaks volumes !! -

Every hotel I have stayed in uses body wash. No soaps anymore. -

Love β€οΈ to chat with providers. I cannot deal with aloof guys or βone wordβ answers. Building a connection makes the session so much better. Talking usually diminishes organically once the guy really gets further into the massage. And yes. Some nice chat after is always great too. Not just shoving you out the door like an unwanted guest. I will often repeat with guys with good personalities. Otherwise itβs always one and done if the masseur will not put in a much effort to make a good connection.

With all due respect, Networks will subsidize known franchises with poor economics for a while. If they were truly good businesspeople, they would have tried aggressively downsize staff, make cuts and make the numbers work. But itβs all on autopilot and it finally crashed and burned. The decline was slow and steady and the lazy management puts their heads in the sand because itβs a βlegacy show.β Hope is not a strategy. The network finally cut their losses, long overdue. There is no conspiracy. -

I am not falling for all these conspiracy theories peddled by the media about this. The business model has clearly changed. These late night shows are a bygone remnant of a past era, ehen Carson and Leno and lettermsn reigned supreme. Too much bloat of these staffs and writers. . Not enough audience. Too many viewing options now, streaming, Netflix etc. These shows outlived their usefulness ( kind of like Ted koppels Nighine ). and these became no longer funny for the most part. Like so many things in life, change is a given and the networks were slow to adjust to it. Bottom line - Itβs the market speaking. -
Tyler Perry Accused of Sexual Assault and Harassment
Johnrom replied to samhexum's topic in The Lounge
Perry will likely settle quietly and make this go away. He has loads of cash and does not need this bad publicity. I do feel bad for the folks who suffer the negative effects of these rich powerful stars on the casting couch. -

I read the show had 200 staffers and was losing 40 million a year. Sounds like a lot of bloat. Cannot run a business that way. You donβt need that many comedy writers βοΈ for a show. -
