This seems to be a taboo subject with my friends - I can honestly say the conversation has never come up. I sometimes wonder how many of my friends have hired - or if they wonder about me. Oh my fault I wasn’t aware you were privy to the arrangements we had made.   But in fact you  are incorrect …..
He was ti be there for three days and left after 11 hours, which included a 6 plus hour nap …..
So there was 0 companionship involved, which if you read the account you would have known this.

As a side note, how many times have many of us been in this position with other professions - such as house painters, roofers, contractors, etc. in which we give them a hefty deposit and this happens ?  They show up to our home on the first day (if we're lucky) drop a few old tools off and maybe some paint, and then take off - never to be seen again ?
