Oh yes, I forgot about that. I guess this was Tina Fey's way of appealing to the "modern" gays? Introducing the cowboy into the mix was an attempt at funny. That's what I felt. Winter was the most difficult to get through.

I haven't seen it. I'm glad for performers. How many gay men has the island money saved from AIDS? How many gay men's lives were helped by this floating ego-island? I guess we should feel grateful he supported a political party that supports gay men. Maybe there is charity we don't know about. All that money, and Barry Diller will mostly be remembered as a closeted gay man. He lived during a time when many gay men would have appreciated his help.

I remember enjoying the 1981 version with Alan Alda and Carroll Burnett. I wanted to like Tina Fey's version, but there were too many eye-roll moments. 3 couples vacationing together season after season? Isn't that a very 80's concept? I really didn't get that this group had been friends forever. I thought Colman Domingo played gay very well, and I especially enjoyed his cute Italian husband. I thought their relationship was the most believable, and the least contrived. Rotten Tomatoes gives it a 77%, but several top-level critics did not like it. Did anybody see it?

Didn't he finance some floating park on the Hudson in the West Village? I guess that means all should be forgiven? Lavender marriages. They've been around for centuries.

Maybe. But not quite for me. When hit with powerful, masculine beauty, the impact has been on my racing heart, more than my junk. Being in the unexpected presence of a truly beautiful male has the power to make me weak at the knees, and have nothing to do with the head of my penis. Yeah, I agree with that. That's the vibe I was getting.

He takes some nice photos. Good artistic discretion.

I saw Susan Stroman in the 1979 musical Whoopee!. She made her life and career on Broadway, and married a director who died. Serious money tends to go with experience and what is familiar. Taking risk on the un-tested, no-awards is even riskier than last year's flop. She's 70 now, so who knows how many shows she will have left.

Ever been horny? Ever been in the presence of "drop dead gorgeous?" When certain things happen, and the visual is a knock-out, what comes next is impossible to calculate or predict. At times like these, rational thoughts take a holiday. If some of the statements are true, how disappointing that a "fitness model" would engage in "party favors." It just goes to show that beauty is not what it's cracked up to be. Speaking from my wise, ancient self, if ever in my life I looked like this guy, I would do everything I could to treat it with respect.

Broadway is one of the few places where dreams don't die. If someone directs a smash hit, there's always a chance they can do it again.

If what I read here is true, and it seems to be so, this is outrageous delusion or transparent scam at its best. But how sad that someone is this desperate. It costs money to place these ads. Not only the cost, ad buyers (escorts) are required to show proof of I.D. How does a scammer get away with this? The men who visit here are forewarned, but what about those who don't visit here? I wonder how many men get duped, and how successful a scam like this can be.

I wonder what Larry Kramer would have thought about this.

After reading this thread, I feel like I want to trans to straight. I'm picturing Fred Mertz, balancing his left leg on a Pogo Stick, while bopping up and down on a trampoline, with his right leg pointed to the sky. Oh yeah, and he's got a yard hose stuck up his ass. I would need a new insurance policy to try some of the things mentioned here.

It is distressing that so many suffer from this disease these days.

Birthday Party in LA, hiring gogo dancers?
d.anders replied to Pd1_jap's topic in Questions About Hiring
If you don't have any experience, perhaps a "big slutty party" with hired "gogo dancers" is a bit of a reach. If you don't have lots of money, you need connections, and those typically cost lots of money. I'm confident L.A. has its share of gay party planners/organizers. They would be your best source for reliable info. -
Exactly why I believe Euthanasia should be legal. Single people with no friends or family should not have to endure the money-grabbing madness of today's fucked-up health care. When faced with so many obstacles, especially incurable, painful disease, we humans should have the legal right to say when we quit.

Turns out it was Verizon. My second blackout this year. It's still causing problems, and they keep changing the fix-by date. Finally had the chance to look at his RM page. He states his age as 36, which is a far cry from his boy years. Let's pretend he's 42. I do see some playful boy-ness in his photos, and bad-boy in his writing. Maybe he deserves a try. Also, he speaks French, which can be fun. Not sure how "french effleurage" differs. Maybe it comes with lots of qui, qui spoken softly in zee ears. I do love "I do massage your derriere a longtime," and the "sensual “corps à corps” ( body to body )." And finally, "Of course you can touch me if you feel like during the massage, I have a really smooth and satinated skin." Ooo-la-la, I'm sold. I wish more ads were this fun to read.

Hell, I was still passing for 40 in my 50's. Hardly would call those my "golden" years. 80 is more golden these days, since so many are living to 100. It's those last 20 years that are the most challenging.

Jussie Smollett was a young, attractive, gay, Black actor on a hit TV network show, making supposedly $125,000 per episode at the time of the blow-up. By simple definition, he was "privileged." In America, privileged people are not permitted to fail. If they fall from public grace, they typically receive out-of-proportion attention. This particular crime infuriated the law enforcement community all across America, and their family members. Many gays were not happy about it either. The details generated increasingly emotional reactions, and that fury explains the high level of vitriol. Not sure it was out of proportion at all.

It's not too crazy. I enjoyed a similar concept in the movie Quartet. If I had tons of money, I would enjoy working on a project like this for gay seniors. When one is quite old, it's no fun to be alone. Companionship is vital to our health. It's not easy for a lot of older folk to get out and meet people, even people our own age. A beautiful, well-run community home can be a very rewarding experience, especially if the details are master crafted.

I once had an encounter with an extremely large cock. Never again. -

I am mystified. Someone sent this guy a deposit? What is it about this ad that says "trust me?" I'm seriously curious. Was it the face tattoo that said "blessed?" -

Now there's a profile photo you don't see everyday. I've heard of cock rings before, but never considered this. Sure gives the Apple Watch some competition. -
That's not good. Very difficult to overcome. I heard Boop was struggling and may have to close early. Not sure if it's true.

Wow. So many nice photos. A serious body. Can't help but wonder why his profile has expired. I could imagine he got swept up by some very wealthy man.

I had to watch it again. It's such fabulous film making. Bill Skarsgård gets naked as Nosferatu, but I assume his cock is part of the costume. The scene where he's captured in sunrise is so fantastic. I'm sorry I didn't see this film in a movie theater.
