I think that I answered very reasonably, I think if you have something interesting to add about government and chemical warfare on the gay community, that this community of many gay men would be interested to hear about it. The big problem with the industry is that it's still got the stigma of 'star' attached to it... Ego is a double-edged sword. The money really isn't the issue, but more troublesome are the strings of social media, industry politics that frequently leak out, the guys who self-medicate in a wide variety of destructive ways (drugs, steroids) and a hierarchy of studio owners/producers that don't give a shit about their talent pool.
 
Even with the growth of performers creating their own content, it's a fickle audience and an ever-increasingly competitive market for their money. The truly smart guys are thinking ahead of the curve and can forecast trends in the industry. Eventually the OnlyFans bubble will burst, as even though there might be some great looking guys doing it, the content is unimaginative, repetitive and people tend to have very short porn attention spans.
