  1. Purplekow doesn't like pigs, but does he like bulls?
  2. Paris 16th District Apartment in Photos ROBBREPORT.COM A luxurious apartment with a library lists for $11.6 million in a 20th-century building near Paris's Place des États-Unis.
  3. I don't find male gingers appealing at all, nor do I find Harry's personality attractive either (much less Harry's wife who seems a lot like Fergie). I agree that William is much better suited for the role.
  4. Taking photos/videos in the locker room violates most gym rules and is illegal, so it should not be tolerated. Flexing in front of the mirror while people are trying to get ready is rude. They can flex on the gym floor or at home.
  5. New tax law gives $25K deduction for tips (Treasury Tipped Occupation Code 602 for massage therapists), so you can adjust withholding accordingly.
  6. Whatever weak stigma against single parenthood remains is not a main driver of the negative effects, so normalizing it even more won't help in that regard. And reducing the remaining stigma will make it more common and thus exacerbate its negative effects. Focusing on it is a just cheap distraction.
  7. The statistics reveal biological and social reality (e.g., The Two Parent Privilege). Normalizing single parenthood (overwhelmingly female) will not magically eliminate its large negative effects on children, particularly those who are least advantaged, because those negative effects are not caused by being stigmatized.
  8. Incorrect. In California, specific intent is not required to prove battery (only general intent is required), so intoxication is not a defense. Do the crime, do the time. California Code, Penal Code - PEN § 29.4 (a) No act committed by a person while in a state of voluntary intoxication is less criminal by reason of his or her having been in that condition. Evidence of voluntary intoxication shall not be admitted to negate the capacity to form any mental states for the crimes charged, including, but not limited to, purpose, intent, knowledge, premeditation, deliberation, or malice aforethought, with which the accused committed the act. (b) Evidence of voluntary intoxication is admissible solely on the issue of whether or not the defendant actually formed a required specific intent, or, when charged with murder, whether the defendant premeditated, deliberated, or harbored express malice aforethought.
  9. It would be better if the protesters focused their efforts on creating a lasting memorial for the victims rather than engaging in street theater by repeatedly chalking the crosswalk, which is soon washed away by rain or gets painted over by the transportation department.
  10. It would have been better to make this guy the new "Uncle Herschel" on the logo.
  11. Particularly in Islam, stepping on something is a sign of disrespect, so I would think that the shooter would approve of a crosswalk as a memorial. His victims deserve something better.
  12. My local Target also cut way back on self-checkout because of rampant theft. You can't get toothpaste without having to call an associate. Gen Zoomer: "What's a printed receipt?"
  13. Considering how poorly that sentence is written, what exactly qualifies as uneducated? 1. "in seems" → should be "it seems" Error type: Wrong pronoun used. 2. "it vast immigrant population" → should be "its vast immigrant population" Error type: Incorrect pronoun form. 3. "population that come" → should be "population that comes" Error type: Subject–verb agreement. 4. "come with and keeps" → should be parallel in form Error type: Faulty parallelism. 5. "their uneducated and narrow mentality" Error type: Pronoun–antecedent agreement. 6. "mentality" (possible pluralization issue) Error type: Word choice/number consistency. 7. "from their native country" Error type: Number mismatch (country vs. countries).
  14. "Privilege" is a matter of perspective. People who remained in the US illegally and were afforded a temporary reprieve for years before being deported are just as easily categorized as privileged. Also, your concept of normal life is distorted. People lose jobs and benefits everyday for all sorts of economic, political, etc. reasons that are beyond a person's individual control. The current situation isn't any different in that regard. What a person does have control over is whether they fly into a rage or despair.
  15. This is wise and a core tenet of Stoicism. Younger generations face a double whammy of being much more exposed to electronic media and appear to have developed less resilience.
  16. I generally agree, but I consider certain paraphilias like autogynephilia to be irrational. Also, a fear of clowns can be irrational, which no doubt plagues Bozo T Clown:

  18. The Mean Girls of The View would be the first ones to complain about fat shaming a woman.
  19. A common cause is damage to the battery, which can occur from dropping it.
  20. I hope the ending is electrifying.
  21. Model arrested after husband found stabbed to death in NYC apartment WWW.NBCNEWYORK.COM The 34-year-old personal trainer had a gash on his head and several wounds to the back of his leg, one deep enough to penetrate the muscle, according to officials. A... Stabbing is fairly common in domestic violence cases.
  22. "However, representatives of 56 Clover Realty LLC, who bought the three buildings in April, have pushed back strongly against the accusations, stating that the three buildings were never rent-stabilized and have always contained condominiums. They further argued that tenants are not protected by Good Cause Eviction laws because the law does not apply to condos... Deeds provided by 56 Clover Realty appear to indicate that all 24 units in the three buildings are designated as condos. ...Dávila said residents can’t afford a 50% rent hike and can’t stomach the prospect of being forced to leave their long-term homes. She conceded that the buildings may not have been officially rent-stabilized but said the previous landlord had been treating it as such by offering tenants one- or two-year leases." If even she concedes the point, then their case is weak (landlords are free to charge below what the market will bear, but that doesn't bind the new owners when the leases are up for renewal). Judgment for 56 Clover Realty. Next case!
  23. Which makes it the original "reality" tv. I wouldn't be surprised if Drag Race used the wrestling costumes for inspiration.
  24. Nothing prevents states or nonprofits from having their own. Not even the state of CA (which loves to virtue signal on such matters) has its own separate hotline but like the federal government has a general hotline.
