Yep. I have gotten four unsolicited messages since reupping. "Hello" "Good morning" "Hey! How are you?" +1 that was actually specific in response to my profile, though the guy is not at all my "type" alas

I re-upped recently (for the 6mo package). Near silence. Which is different than what I experienced before. I guess I'm just not that interesting the second time around.

Not my "type" really (at all) but I love his ad text, especially "Unfortunately, I'm only conversant in English but I'm pretty great with charades so there's that if worse comes to worst." Thoughtful. Witty. Grammatically precise. Count me a fan. If only he were my "type"...

Happened to me a number of times. Twice in airports, but mostly walking around Manhattan. Only once with a guy I'd hired. (Pretty sure he didn't notice/recognize me.) And once with a guy who was so much hotter than his pics that he shot way up my "to do" list...

Pretty pictures are great but it's personality that's absolutely essential for me. It's not yet worked out for me to meet any of them, but the pics+personality appeal of @Mikegaite, @Russ & @Eric Hassan have definitely put each of them on my bucket (f*cket?) list... Links to social-media presence are also a big plus, as are non-explicit home videos. And I love it when a gent lists a multi-hour fee structure. I do prefer face pics, though a multi-faceted faceless profile (like that of RomanLA) can totally work for me. My turn offs tend to be sloppy inconsistencies within the profile info, flipping the bird, and all/only/too-many porn-studio shots/videos.

I dunno that I'd actually do it, but I'd likely be sorely tempted if Andrew Stark advertised at that (or maybe any) rate...

I guess I've become accustomed to the arcane boarding rituals and the increasingly less-comfortable seats and all that... Where I'm becoming a curmudgeon is around those people who bring huge bags of stinky/sloppy airport food to eat on board. Sure, airplane food was never appetizing, but at least it was tidy and comparatively inconspicuous. I find the enduring aroma of that giant meatball sandwich stewing three rows away to be almost worse than a cranky baby. At least I carry earphones with me so there's the possibility I can block out the baby...

@Juan Vancouver 's advice is spot on. Both in terms of the double-hire and sexclub etiquette. And @nynakedtop's invite is worth considering. (I've recently tuned into the underground network and not that long ago hit one of the events/venues with a gent; I found it to be quite hot and quite civilized, if you can call such a thing civilized.)
