I‘m so sorry. I never had the chance to meet him, but he worked hard to run this board, and my life is better for it. RIP.

RIP. He affected my life in a very positive way.

To hear this definitely knocks the wind out of you-especially since I had the chance to meet him once or twice. I really don't know what I would have done without this site. Aside from actually having met Daddy, this site (and Muscle Service Station) provided me with two people who ended up becoming my best friends for around 10 years. We lived 100's of miles apart and only met in person a few times. But they were invaluable to me. And without this site (and Muscle Service Station), I never would have met them. And that's not even counting the fact that if it weren't for this site I might have remained a virgin forever.

I have always tried during times like this to remember the good things that made Guy who he was, what brought him happiness and joy, and how I could pass that on to others as a memorial to Guy’s life.

Awful news. I'm so grateful for this site that he created and for the camaraderie and people I've interacted with here. I hope he knew how much this forum meant to so many.

Sad news. May he rest in peace. Didn't know him like many of the others, but I've grateful to have found this site he built.

I am sad. @Cooper, thank you for everything you have done.

What terrible news. My sympathies to those who interacted regularly with him over the years.

I am very sorry to report that Guy Fawkes/daddy passed away this evening of heart failure. For over a month he remained in the hospital unconscious and on life support.
 
His passing touches us all. He was a man who dedicated his life to providing a Forum where men would feel free and comfortable talking about all sorts of topics that covered our life style.
 
Having worked with daddy since he started this site I got to see first hand how much he cared about people and viewed us as his family. He was a very bright man with a love for life. He will be missed.

Even if somehow expected, this news is very sad. I have never met him, but this Forum is a little part of many of our daily or almost daily life, thanks to him.

I'm so sad to hear this. He was such an amazing man and without his encouragement, I'm pretty sure @Robster and I never would have gotten to make friends with so many of you. As others before me had said so incredibly well, I hope he realized what a positive difference he made in a lot of people's lives.

The other side has just become a better place. I hope "Daddy" traveled knowing the undying gratitude of myself and so many others.
 
Cooper, thank you so much for all the above-and-beyond you absorbed to prepare us for what we all knew was a possibility.

This is indeed sad news, not only because of the fact of Guy’s death and the loss to those who knew him personally, but to the larger community who participated on this site.
 
I fervently hope somehow we can carry on exchanging thoughts and ideas here but am completely in the dark as to whether this is possible.
 
Whichever way it goes, it’s been a fun ride with you guys.
