I certainly realize most communities have recycling facilities and I presume many citizens use them..... but even recycling takes money, staff, and energy to conduct.....my point is that these single-use little plastic bottles of water that many seem to love buying cases of are wasteful.....better (and easy) options include re-filling plastic bottles with filtered water (from the refrigerator filter pitcher) or just filling up a glass with the filter pitcher water......

I put tap water in a filter pitcher in the fridge.....I cringe at the sight of cases of one-use plastic water bottles being loaded into the mini-vans at Costco, all destined for the dump

"pop" is, of course, considered very Midwestern......though I'm half-Midwestern and lived there as an older kid, we never used that word......to be honest, it always seemed a tiny bit "white trash " to me.......we always used "soda" or "coke" (generic for any soft drink)....... sneakers or tennis shoes?
