I also had never heard of Frette. Looked it up and the pictures look like regular sheets, but the description of them is pretty gushing. Always with an uppercase 'F', I'm wondering if Frette is a company name or just a style of manufacture.

back to the Madagascar chat.....have never been, but if your goal is to spend time there ("flora and fauna"), I wouldn't take a cruise there since it will inevitably be docked for 12-18 hours max at each stop.....cruise somewhere else where short port stops are more appropriate and make a dedicated air/land trip to Madagascar for several days

saw a local provider I'd met with a few times at Costco several check-out lines down from me......we were both alone and we both nodded......I wondered whether to be discreet, but the context seemed like a quick "hello" as we each left the check-outs would be appropriate.......I said hey and we talked about a nearby fire that had just happened.......he seemed just a tiny tiny bit surprised I'd say hi, but it didn't bother him too much, it seemed.........all good........

A friend once said we're all prostitutes if we work for somebody else. The word "escort" has become pretty generic in mainstream use, but I don't like that word because it really smacks of a wink-wink term coined decades ago to disguise the fact your date is a hooker. "Provider ", though very bland, is comfortably discreet and has no nudge-nudge hint of hiding what may be going on. More respectful-sounding, too.
